@archiitect: colby has been on his radar for a long time, going back to their early matches together on the indies. now that they’re both in WWE, the easy back-and-forth picked up again without missing a beat. patrick respects him not just as a performer, but as someone who fought through setbacks and injuries to become who he is now.

this is gonna sound harsh, but worse case scenario– you’re somehow replaced… so what? no one could be as good as you. the things you make live on a LOT longer than the time they’re in the ring for. besides, staying on top doesn’t mean burning yourself into the ground. one really amazing piece is so much more important than cranking out 100 quick turnarounds that you’re not passionate about.
