A listener for you! I tried pretty hard to pull in Moonwatcher’s information for her, since I like the thought they’re related[as,, I said in the Moonwatcher post]

Moonwatcher! I adore Moon so so so much?? She has literally All Of The Rights and she’s such a special character to me personally. I like to think she’s a descendant of Listener!

And designs are back with my love. my darling. the baby. i love her. yall can never understand how much i love kinkajou. Kinkajou is baby and I love her i just would like to spend one(1) afternoon talking to her and laughing with her and giving her a hug because she DESERVES it and her scars are on the other wing because I maybe forgot to draw them apologies.

Okay so to start this off I’d like to say that, in my eyes, IceWings and RainWings are both extraordinarily outside of Pyrrhia LGBT+ norms-- but both are in inherently different ways. IceWings provide resources so that its completely normal, even though their majority is still cishet-- they’re different from the norms because they’re more “so what” about it than most other tribes.

RainWings, on the other hand, are outside of the norms because this is their norm. 

Out of the seven tribes of Pyrrhia, six of them have a majority of members that are monogamously cishets. They were born in the right body and they can settle down with a dragon from the opposite sex and be happy just fine. Since Darkstalker’s time, IceWings have been seeing their ratio even out to the path of being roughly half-and-half, but there is still currently a clear majority of cishets.

The seventh tribe are the RainWings. The “standard norm” for RainWing culture is to be polyamorous, genderfluid, and panromantic/pansexual. Its common for one RainWing to have five or six partners, and each of those partners to have five or six of their own-- a large majority of the tribe are all dating each other collectively.

Gender identities in the RainWing tribe are just as fluid as their scales-- a lot of RainWing culture revolves around fluidity, whether it be your partners’ partners, the relaxed schedules of their days, or their hatchery system; RainWings are inherently fluid. They just don’t see the point in sticking to one gender-- if they feel like a boy one day and a girl the next and sometimes they’re not either, that’s normal in their society.

There are still monogamous RainWings, RainWings who stick to one gender, and RainWings who do have to take gender into account when falling in love-- and they’re accepted just as well as the rest of the RainWing tribe --but they are the distinct minority here.

They’re SUPER LGBT+ friendly! IceWings are a rigid society and those are always depicted as anti-LGBT+, but like. Snowfox and Snowflake are definitely lesbians. And Snowfox is the ancestor of all royal IceWings, because Glacier didn’t have any other heirs.

Clearly, then, either Snowfox had a clutch of eggs with a male IceWing and instantly dumped him-- or IceWings have a way for m/m and w/w relationships to have their own kids. We know as a fact that IceWings had a well organized animus system-- consider, for a moment, this:

“The Gift Of Love”, and the next animus having “The Gift Of Self”. 

So like, basically what I’m seeing here is the gift of love coming from an animus who was a lesbian that was with the current IceWing heir. And like, the heir’s mom was super chill about it but also very much “You’re going to have to have kids one day” about it?

And maybe said animus-- I’m going to call her Polar for now, I think --was struggling to figure out what exactly the tribe needed from her, y’know? They already have all of these amazing things-- and then it strikes her that like. She and her love can’t have heirs. So she starts planning.

Eventually she makes it to the day when her gift to the tribe is revealed and she just unveils this ice sculpture- and it’s a really well done sculpture, too, of two featureless eggs with a group of dragons surrounding them? And underneath there’s like,, a little hollow space underneath it, and she speaks the words that “This statue, when asked, will produce a clutch of eggs for any group of dragons- regardless of gender, sexuality, or biological sex.” or something like that!

And then she and her now-wife have a clutch of three eggs and they’re just so happy about it and they love their kids!

One of their kids, though, is ftm trans and he doesn’t like. Have a good way to transition. So one of his siblings- the animus sibling -is just like “HEY MOM I KNOW MY GIFT!” and three months later there’s another statue next to the egg statue that’s literally just. If a dragon touches it and asks with a specific key word, they are magically transformed into their gender and not forced to stay in their biological body.

Winter, the icy boy!!

I want,, I wan, wan dr,, draw qinterwatcher,,,, so BAD,,, I would be doing Kinkajou’s design right now but instead I’m just working on Winter and Moonwatcher because then I can draw Qinterwatcher art!! And I love Qinterwatcher!!

Qibli, our collective son!! I love him!! He’s BABY!! I cannot express my love for him enough!

I started with the second arc, I know, but look. Look. Qibli and Kinkajou are my favorite characters in the series by FAR, and Moon is my third with Winter as my fourth. I ADORE the second arc, I’m super biased towards it and I know that!! Don’t @ me about this!!
