Don't call her crazy, don't call her crazy -- but that sure did seem to be Molly's state of mind, off-putting laughter echoing in the towering trees surrounding them. "But why?" Eden asked, desperation edging into their tone, hoping to just keep Molly talking while they fought against their bindings, wrists already rubbed raw. They squirmed, inching backwards across mossy undergrowth. "What... what'll happen next? When people realize I'm missing? When my family comes looking for me?" But they were states away, Eden's estrangement widely known of by friends, Molly included. "I have a date!" They exclaimed, very clearly grasping at straws, trying to make her rethink this freaky murder scheme. "Tomorrow night, at the club. She'll worry if I don't show."

"literally every single thing about you says that you're upset," annika countered. letting him inside had been a mistake — maybe every time after the first had been one, too, but particularly now, when her one goal was showing him that she could, in fact, reject him. his comment struck an unexpected chord, evidenced by eyebrows climbing up her forehead "a roster ? jesus, scott. we met at rigby's. shared some drinks. decided to go home together." the longer she sat with his statement, the more she resented it. "is it that hard to believe that more than one person in this town wants to have sex with me ?"

He tried to rearrange his face, finally putting all those acting classes to good use as he managed a look of cool neutrality, but it didn't last long. "Oh, come on," he scoffed in earnest, eyes rolling and head going with the motion, shaking back and forth. "Uh-uh, no, don't do that. Don't twist my words into some bullshit I didn't say." Even if maybe -- maybe! -- Annika was just saying the quiet part out loud. "It's not like I actually thought you were a virgin when we first linked up." See? Scott could come up with plenty of dumb bullshit on his own! He shrugged, stubbornly crossed arms unfolding and shoulders relaxing. "You're seeing this guy again, though, right?" he asked, like there was any real point to him knowing. It shouldn't've changed a thing between them, and yet... Scott still stood there frowning at Annika, mutely expressing his big feelings.

A little light bondage was nothing new to Eden, but being gagged and dragged out to the woods against their will? That was a new one. Sweat had gathered across their brow, smeared mascara stinging their eyes as Eden's vigilant gaze remained pinned to their friend, her words coming far too casually for someone orchestrating a literal abduction. "What the fuck, Molly!" They gasped, spit flying as the gag was removed. Fear gleamed in their eyes, but Eden tried to hoist their anger to the forefront as a mask of bravery. "Is this - is this some kind of prank? A joke?" Molly couldn't be serious right now.

"Who said I was upset?" He shot Annika an incredulous look, overly flippant when he continued, nearly scoffing, "I'm not upset." But he was, very obviously so, sulking around her place like an agitated cat ever since she told him that she already had plans for the weekend -- plans that very much did not involve him. "You can do whatever you want, for real." Scott shrugged, shooting for casual and chill, but not at all sticking the landing. Fuck being a Pisces. "I just never thought you were the type to have, like, a roster on standby."

Even if that was true, Natt would deny it. Or she would just claim she was giving the same energy. Unfortunately for her, she was desperate for this to work. And every single thing about this film was making her think the world was out to get her. She stared at Dawn, she yearned for her desire to be palatable. To be something she could feel and see. In her head, that would save the film. As she got closer, she even thought that Dawn had broken through whatever mental block she had .... only to back away. Instead of letting her be stranded, Natt reached forward and gripped the girl by her face, pulling her to look her in the eyes. "You don't need a fucking script right now, Dawn." She looked her in the eyes, as if she could will her into it. As if she was some sort of hypnotist. Her thumb found the other's plump lower lip, and she tilted her head. She didn't blink. "You want to fuck me. You want to hear me moan for you, to hear your name fall from my lips. You want me so carnally that you would sink your teeth and your nails into me and never let go." The words were a growl, and maybe even a promise. Natt brushed their noses together, heavy breathing ensued. "Want me, please. Need me."

Her breath caught, brown eyes blown wide and staring directly into Natt's darker pools. Deeper, more intense, more expressive than her own gaze -- the director's critiques swirled at the back of her mind, always the scolding voice of a man fueling Dawn's unconscious corrections of self. But Natt's voice was louder. Her words enveloped Dawn and pulled her under, submersing them into... the scene? Or was this just a moment now, shared between the two of them, making her feel as if she was being flayed alive?
