Wings of fire and dagger of the dragons crossover
Osprey burst into Peril’s room. “Peril, if you don’t mind, I need your help.”
Peril looked over her shoulder at Osprey, “What is it?”
“Go and block the window of my room, quickly now!”
Before Peril could ask any questions Osprey was gone. Peril leapt out the window and flew over to the tower that help Ospreys room. Peril sat in the window spreading her wings completely blocking the window. As she did that’s when she saw it, inside the room was a scavenger, wandering around as if lost with only an apple in her hands. But it wasn’t just any scavenger, this one had wings, a tail, and horns. The scavenger looked up at Peril and chirped curiously.
Across the room Osprey opened the door and carefully closed it behind him. “There, now it can’t escape.”
Peril cocked her head. “I never knew scavengers had wings.”
“They don’t.” Said Osprey. “At least not that anyone knew of.”
The scavenger looked over at Osprey and started chirping at him too as if expecting a response.
“I think it’s a girl.” Noted Osprey. “You can tell by the head fur.” The scavenger looked back and forth between Osprey and Peril then sat down curiously watching the two dragons talk in a language she didn’t understand as she ate her apple.
“She doesn’t seem scared.” observed Peril. “Doesn’t she know she’s trapped.”
“I don’t know.” said Osprey scratching his chin. “It is peculiar.”
The scavenger tossed the core of the apple and stood up. Without a hint of fear, she walked over to Osprey and chirped as she pointed at the door.
“I think she wants out.” Said Peril.
“Yes, I wonder if…” Osprey never had a chance to finish that thought. The scavenger pushed him aside with dragon like strength and punched her way through the door.
“OSPREY!” yelled Peril rushing over to him, “Are you ok.”
Osprey was just getting up, “I… I… what was that?”
“The scavenger.” Informed Peril flatly. “Don’t worry, I’ll go get her.”
“Wait!” yelled Osprey, but it was two late Peril was already flying down the tower stairs after the scavenger.
Peril flew over the scavenger’s head and stopped in front of her spreading her wings out blocking the path.
The scavenger grabbed Peril foot and threw her off the staircase. As Peril crashed into the floor she could hear the scavenger yelp, looking down confused at her burnt hands.
The scavenger leapt off the staircase and flew out the window. By the time Peril got up the winged scavenger was long gone.
Osprey came down the stairs. “What happened?” he asked.
Peril stared out the window almost not believing what had just happened. “I… don’t know.”
