I am going to cease uploading that piece of crap until it's a LOT closer to complete. In the meantime, the beat is okay, so I'm keeping it and tweaking it a bit, and I've utterly deleted the bassline for being atonal crap.

Well, thank you very much! I was actually a bit concerned about those reviews, and held off doing further reviews because of those concerns. I did have a follow-up review of After Party prepared, but didn't get it uploaded before the laptop it was on got stolen. Anyway, After Party and Apple 2012 are both old news on the Balloon Party front, so I'll just have to keep the old directional mics to the ground for new tracks.

Because it is a well known fact Disney ruins things when they try and do a sequel. They are fantastic at inventing new IP, but they’re even beter at completely ruining it with the sequel. This trend has started to break, slowly, but we are not devoid of awfully disappointing franchise sequels from Disney, not by a long shot.

Yes, people are overreacting, to a stupid degree, but I don’t blame people for being concerned when a new entity becomes involved in continuing a franchise. It can be positive, providing further longevity to the brand, but can also fall foul of influence from them, and I don’t just mean Disney exclusively.

We’ll see.

Except they're historically pretty damn terrible at coming up with actual IPs. Up until the newer stuff on Disney XD (Phineas & Ferb, Motorcity, Kick Buttowski, etc.), every "original" Disney program has been a knockoff. Every single movie has been based on something someone else wrote until very recently as well.

Disney doesn't create IPs: they engineer them out of pre-existing ideas and trademark the hell out of them.

Actually, I use LMMS. It’s pretty full featured, although admittedly not as much as, say, Reason or FL Studio.

I’ve used LMMS, and while I will say it has features, it is not full featured by any means. It is in fact a hunk of half finished garbage. Sorry. I’ve used it, and it doesn’t do the job even vaguely competently.

Again, it doesn't have the same features as $600 commercial software. But "half-finished garbage" seems a bit harsh, no? Ah well, I didn't write it, and I enjoy using it. I've only got one gripe with the thing, and that is that the automation interface is poorly designed.

It beats the hell out of Ardour, which, though it is ostensibly more powerful, doesn't actually DO anything but provide a framework for your other software to do stuff. It's like Reason without the sweet interface or, you know, any of the plugins.
