Why do we say "double u" when we spell out something with "W" and not say "double v"...?

Something about being in a world inside another.. like living in a doll house inside a regular house. I had a plant I needed to hide so I asked my neighbor around the corner if I could plant it by their fence. It felt very important that i do that. Then I was on a small boat, small like a wheelchair/just enough room to sit. But they were only legs, wearing jeans one leg dark red jean and the other teal. One leg had to be thrown over the side of the world/ a waterfall. As sacrifice maybe? But then arms appeared and hugged it, I didn't want to let it go, I turned to let the tears fall and when I looked back, it had already jumped over. My dreams never make sense and they switch subjects quite frequently .. I don't have nightmares anymore, I'm usually resolved and not fearful Do you ever have emotions from dreams stick with you when you wake up?
