Has every other characteristic change expected from a Zweilous. Aside from the extra head. The existing head has lilted to the left, but the second one didn’t grow in. He seems ok? Disoriented maybe. But he’s eating, less than I’d like but he is.

A vet is on the way to see if they can figure stuff out. But it’ll likely take a few days since I live in the middle of nowhere (because I raise large aggressive dragons).

it's highly unusual, but sometimes pokemon experience freak mutations during evolution even if they were perfectly healthy previous to evolution. it's an extremely low risk, but it's there nonetheless. given that your deino was healthy enough to undergo evolution, that's what i would assume happened unless a veterinary found otherwise. there's nothing you could do about this- it's just an unfortunate mishap.

failure to properly split off has been documented a few times in polycephalic pokemon. i remember reading a case study about a scovillain whose heads were merged together...it died pretty soon after evolution. i don't think i've ever seen a pokemon where the new head entirely failed to form, though. i'm really not sure what is going to happen to your zweilous, unfortunately. still, even without seeing it, i would expect some pretty catastrophic issues internally. i would be very surprised if your zweilous didn't have some malformed organs or other health issues after evolving. i hope that isn't the case, but i really doubt it isn't.
