Duaa is key to success

Allāh does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.

You are jobless/laid-off? You are single/divorced/widowed? You are homeless or cannot afford the rent?

Say what Moosaa عليه السلام had said:

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

{My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me}

[Surah al-Qasas (28): 24]

For Allaah جل وعلا then provided him with a job (shepherd), a wife, and a place to stay.

قال شاعر:

فتشبهوا إن لم تكونوا مثلهم**إن التشبه بالكرام فلاحُ

A poet said (on the pious people of the past):

“Try to imitate them if you are not like them, Indeed in imitating the honourable lies success.”

النعم ثلاثة: نعمة حاصلة يعلم بها العبد، و نعمة منتظرة يرجوها، و نعمة هو فيها و لا يشعر بها.

Blessings are of three types:

1) A blessing received by the slave, and he is aware of this blessing.

2) A blessing that he is waiting to receive, and hopes to attain it.

3) A blessing which he currently has, but he is unaware of it.

ثبت الله عليك النعمة التي انت فيها بإدامة شكرها،

Allah will strengthen and sustain the blessing which you are currently in if you continuously thank Him for it,

و حقق لك النعم التي ترجوها بحسن الظن به و دوام طاعته،

And He will make true the blessing you hope for attaining, if you have Good Thoughts about Him and persistently worship Him,

و عرّفك النعم التي انت فيه و لا تعرفها لتشكرها.

And He will allow you to realize and know the blessings which you are currently in which you are not aware, so that you could thank Him.

"Whoever knows himself well,

would keep himself busy reforming himself

instead of talking about the faults of others.

Whoever knows his Lord,

would keep himself busy trying

to please Him instead of trying to please himself."
