The Messenger of Allah, (ṣall Allahu ʿalayhi wa-’ālihi wa-sallam), said:

Beware of the supplication of the oppressed,

even if he is an unbeliever,

for there is no barrier between it and Allah.

Children must be raised upon goodness,

must be raised upon the Sunnah,

must be raised upon acts of worship,

must be raised upon the religion—so they are not neglected.

that Allaah wants you to be happy

all the time, far from grief.

• The effort she puts into raising her child.

• Her compassion and her service.

• The hardships that she suffered in carrying him.

• Giving birth to him.

• Nursing him.

• Bringing him up.

• Serving him.

• Caring for him when he was sick.

• And so on.

“Today, the Quran has been replaced by nasheeds”.

you seek the world as if your very life depended on it

and you seek the Hereafter as if you have no need of it!

You will acquire what you need from this world even if you do not run after it,

but you will only attain the Hereafter if you run after it.

So be aware of your true condition!”

"O Bilal! Spend in charity

and do not fear any diminishment

from the Owner of Majesty (Allah)."

for the characters of people are susceptible to being influenced,

and if he does not intentionally copy their manners,

or (somehow) his character is saved from their influence, (then surely)

he will become slack in his worship.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

Charity does not part with a man

until it is freed from the jaws of seventy devils.

[Musnad Ahmad, 22962, Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to as-Suyuti (rahimahullah)]

Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) said:

Satan is like a bandit;

every time a person wants to travel towards Allah,

he tries to intercept him!

Mujahid ibn Jabr (rahimahullah) said:

If you spend as much as (the weight of) Abi Qubays (name of a mountain in Makkah)

in obedience to Allah,

then it's never excessive;

but if you spend even a small amount in disobedience towards Allah,

then it's sheer profligacy.

‎«الإنسان لا ينبغي له أن يحكِّم العاطفة، بل يجب عليه أن يتبع ما دل عليه الكتاب والسنّة وأيده العقل الصريح السالم من الشبهات والشهوات.»

❝A person should not be controlled by emotions.

In fact it is obligatory upon him to follow what the Book and Sunnah direct to.

He is then supported by a correct clear intellect which is free from doubts and desires.❞

❝O you who has grown grey yet has not repented for his sins;

nor resolved to be upright or devote himself [to the religion],

you have brought joy to Shaytān and angered Ar-Rahmān.❞

❝The different grades of doing actions for Allaah

are in relation to what is in the heart

from Emaan, sincerity, love and that what follows them.❞

❝The most complete of the believers in their Emaan are those

who have the best manners,

who are humble,

who join hearts and their hearts are joined.

There is no good in the one

who does not join the hearts

nor is his heart joined.❞

The Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] said:

❝Indeed Allaah [تعالى] protects His believing servant from the Dunya - while he loves it -

just as you protect your sick from food and drink fearing for them.❞

❝From the means of ease and delight for the heart, is:

continuous remembrance of Allaah in all circumstances, and in every place.

Dhikr has an amazing effect in giving ease to the heart, and pleasure to the heart.

Negligence has a strange effect on making the heart constrained, imprisoning it and punishing it.❞

From Abu Hurairah [رضي الله عنه] from the Prophet [ﷺ]:

«ليس صدقة أعظم أجرا من ماء.»

❝There is no charity which has a greater reward than

providing water.❞
