If the first ten (in some narrations last ten) verses of Sūrat Al-Kahf are a protection from the Fitnah of the Dajjal,
then it is even more so a protection for that
which is lesser than that Fitnah (so recite them often!).

Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said:
He who the Qur’an does not cure is not cured by Allah,
and he who the Qur’an does not suffice, is not sufficed by Allah.

Shaykh Saleh al-Fawzaan (hafidhahullah):
Children must be raised upon goodness,
must be raised upon the Sunnah,
must be raised upon acts of worship,
must be raised upon the religion—so they are not neglected.

The reason why the mother is given importance is because of:
• The effort she puts into raising her child.
• Her compassion and her service.
• The hardships that she suffered in carrying him.
• Giving birth to him.
• Nursing him.
• Bringing him up.
• Serving him.
• Caring for him when he was sick.
• And so on.

Shaykh al-Albani (rahimahullah) regretfully said:
“Today, the Quran has been replaced by nasheeds”.

Son of Adam;
you seek the world as if your very life depended on it
and you seek the Hereafter as if you have no need of it!
You will acquire what you need from this world even if you do not run after it,
but you will only attain the Hereafter if you run after it.
So be aware of your true condition!”

The Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) told Bilal (radiyAllahu ‘anhu):
"O Bilal! Spend in charity
and do not fear any diminishment
from the Owner of Majesty (Allah)."

I could not find any deed as grievous for the believer as mixing with people of impious nature,
for the characters of people are susceptible to being influenced,
and if he does not intentionally copy their manners,
or (somehow) his character is saved from their influence, (then surely)
he will become slack in his worship.

Buraydah ibn al-Hasib (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) reported:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
Charity does not part with a man
until it is freed from the jaws of seventy devils.

Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) said:
Satan is like a bandit;
every time a person wants to travel towards Allah,
he tries to intercept him!

Imam Abu'l Hajjaj al-Makki (rahimahullah)
Mujahid ibn Jabr (rahimahullah) said:
If you spend as much as (the weight of) Abi Qubays (name of a mountain in Makkah)
in obedience to Allah,
then it's never excessive;
but if you spend even a small amount in disobedience towards Allah,
then it's sheer profligacy.
[Tafseer Ibn Abi Haatim (rahimahullah), 7962]
Shaykh Muhammad Bin Salih Al-Uthaymeen [رحمه الله] said:
«الإنسان لا ينبغي له أن يحكِّم العاطفة، بل يجب عليه أن يتبع ما دل عليه الكتاب والسنّة وأيده العقل الصريح السالم من الشبهات والشهوات.»
❝A person should not be controlled by emotions.
In fact it is obligatory upon him to follow what the Book and Sunnah direct to.
He is then supported by a correct clear intellect which is free from doubts and desires.❞
[Al-Qawl Al-Mawfeed Ala Kitab Tawheed, (Page: 195)]

nor resolved to be upright or devote himself [to the religion],
you have brought joy to Shaytān and angered Ar-Rahmān.❞
