Look what came in the post today. Homemade natural and organic soaps made by my uncle @ningthoujaraj He is a dentist but has a lot of varied interests. This is his latest venture or side hustle @abok_ki which translates to 'Grandmother's' which I guess is referring to the recipe. Comes in 5 different fragrances including rosemary, lemongrass, sangbrei (Pogostemon purpurascens), Chino Champra (Artabotrys hexapetalus or ylang ylang) and Leihao (Michaelis champaca). Light and lovely fragrances. Can't wait to try them out. He is selling them for Rs60 which is around RM3.30. They are quite small and around half the size of a normal soap. Delicious Manipuri food. It was a feast actually: Rice, dall, black rice porridge, yongchak (petai) iromba, fried peanuts and brinjal, paneer, mixed vege with mushrooms, steamed pumpkin and ooti (Manipuri dish made with peas). This is our plant ICU. We have realised that many of our "dead" plants are not actually dead and may "come alive" again as long as we keep the soil slightly moist. Before this we would just throw away the pots. Finally received a gift from my friends @camanoopawan all the way from India. This is the Nutrilite Chyawanprash. It is an Ayurvedic medicine and is traditionally taken to improve your immunity.
