I’ve made this blog to collect and promote various mcyt fics on ao3 that I think deserve a lot of hype and love! Feel free to send me a link; I’d love to hear your suggestions for fics to check out!

(I will not read anything marked sexually explicit, anything against any cc’s boundaries, or anything weirdly shipping the ccs themselves. All (if not most) fics will be focusing on the dream smp characters, not the ccs themselves)

If you’re looking for something specific, I.e. a character centric fic, a group dynamic fic (I know y’all love sbi), or a particular duo, be sure to search through the tags! I try to tag everything as accurately as I can so it’ll make it easier for you to search! :)

If you’re looking for a specific character or fic concept but don’t know what I’d tag it, drop me an ask! Maybe I, or someone else knows about it!

Oooh I absolutely do! This looks really cool :D

"You haven’t been here very long,” Techno says conversationally. “I imagine though, that you've noticed a few things strange in this place. Rooms you're not allowed in, strange guests coming at strange hours."

Tommy's wings shuffle uncertainly. He has, he has noticed strange things about the manor. How did this man know that though?

Techno nods as though he can read Tommy's mind. "You know that this place isn't all that it seems. Your master isn't who he seems. I won't bore you with the details, it's all a bit above your head, and to be honest a bit above mine. That's mostly Phil's department. "

Someone is rattling the doors of the ballroom, people are screaming behind them. Tommy's heart jumps with every frantic thunk, every raised voice. Belatedly, he realizes that there is a bar over the doors. Keeping the guests in.

"By tomorrow morning, this place is going to be ash and rubble," Techno says, his voice utterly calm. As if it means nothing to him. "A fire, candle fell and whoosh. A tragedy. there won't be any survivors. None that they can find any way. There will be one, though."

“So, theoretically, if I were to trade my soul with you, is it possible to get money in return?”

A drag of silence passes. The demon’s smile fades into a blank expression that could almost be called confusion.

“...Yes…” The demon trails off. “You could, but couldn’t you go bigger than that?” It phrases the question as an offer, a chance to make the deal at least a bit complicated. Demons don’t like simplicity, it seems.

Shame, because that’s all sleep-deprived Wilbur cares for.

“What could be bigger than Money?” Wilbur asks, raising his eyebrows and clapping his hands together. He then winces with a curse, having forgotten about the fact his palm is still sliced open.

“Can we watch?”

“...what?”

“I’ve never seen a human resting, I wanna see.”

Tommy blinks at Wilbur. “You can’t just--ask to watch someone while they’re sleeping.”

“Is there a ritual?” Phil asks, “or does some offering need to be made first?”

“My wings –” Tommy pants. “They’re – I fell on them when you bumped into me earlier, I – I thought they were okay, but now I can’t –”

“Okay, okay. Breathe.” Wilbur soothes. He sets down the cages in the grass and puts two hands on Tommy’s shoulders. “Can I see?” Tommy stares at him. “I can help, I promise. I work in the town’s aviary. I’ve done this my whole life. I promise I won’t hurt you.”

Tommy hesitates. He needs to deliver this mail. But, he can’t do his job if he can’t fly. “Okay,” he allows.

“I’m not pretending,” Wilbur says gently. “You’re my brother.”

“No,” Tommy says, scowling. “No, we’re not brothers. My brother died on that pyre. I don’t know who you are. I don’t want to know who you are. All I know is that you are not him.”
