In some places in Brazil, we have a birthday joke. Since the verb "comer" (to eat) is also a common Brazilian slang term for sex (I think it's common abroad too, Im not sure), the person immediately expects the sentence to be completed with something obscene. But, after a dramatic pause, you shout an innocent food-related word, like "...bolo!" (cake!). It's just a silly way to trick someone's expectations and get a quick laugh.
