𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙞𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙚 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙞𝙩..?

nene being happy and contented because she learned a few things about her ghost friend that she knew and can't learn from the rumors. and continues on how kind and dangerous hanako can be..

nene knocking three times and saying "hanako-san, hanako-san, are you there?" and then hanako grabbing unto her shoulder like the first time they met. BUT, this time. this time nene reaches for hanako's hand!

how can we not talk about how ADORABLE nene was in this scene? and i absolutely loved hanako's expression! you can see his affection and fondness over yashiro! aaaa, my hananene heart!

then nene continues on saying his name with the CUTEST voice ever! and can we talk about how beautiful the light was and how it faded out with the scene?

Yashiro Nene is indeed a special girl!

Teru, when he calls her special, seems to be referring to her unusual purification powers, which are even stronger than his own... which is pretty interesting, since Teru grew up as an exorcist and is very good at his job!

It seems Nene has some sort of natural affinity for dealing with supernaturals... I suspect it's deeper than just being "Hanako-kun's assistant" if even Teru is impressed, hehe.

There's really not a lot to go on, but I'm still suspicious of how Nene has the kanji for eight in her last name (Yashiro)... perhaps she has a lot of hidden power and potential that hasn't been unlocked yet...?! Enough to equal the seven mysteries...?!

... well, I dunno... I'm just guessing!

As for Natsuhiko, him working for Tsukasa means he could be privy to secret information we don't know about Nene, since I suspect the lot of them know more than we do... but I could also see him it as him just making a joke here, instead! He is trying to kidnap her, after all. 😅

I'm not sure if Natsuhiko refers to Nene as special in other parts of the manga, but I don't know if there's any hidden meanings I can extrapolate from this currently... it's a mystery for now!
