Ladybug, for all her power, was a weaker creature trembling under the surface, barely holding up the strength of the miraculous she did not deserve. She was barely worth Hawkmoth's attention, and that fool was only on Tomoe's radar because he was willing to cut up her employees.

So no, Tomoe did not back down from the hero's attempt at a serious stare. Tomoe was the abyss, and she stared back, she made the brat blink and forced her to shrink.

I will admit that I wanted to see what would have happened had Exterminator gotten Gabriel's ass, and him having to rely on Tsuguri tech, just because I was curious, since Nathalie in the main show had to use orthotics to walk prior season 6, would have been an interesting turn of events, and a hell of a fucked up arch for the Agrests if Gabriel got turned into this universe's Sublime, I wonder if that would have humbled the fuck out of him lmao.

But again, Queen Bee—I mean Chloé saved the day, quite honestly the way you write her she DOES deserve the bee miraculous, when shit calls for it, she really gets guts the size of Saturn!

I think you're forgetting the real MVP here.

Also, Chloe watching her 'Uncle' getting maimed by an akuma and the adorable kwami get backhanded and both just shrug it off. "What the fuck is wrong with Adrien's family?!".

The tumblr picture is a piece of art I got from some free reddit commission years back. Long story short, in college I wrote a crappy book for my final assignment in creative writing; the art was of the lead character, Clint. It was about a theme park planet where all the animatronics have continued to function long after the planet is abandoned. They've developed sentience, but are still completely ignorant to the fact that they're robots playing out fictional stories.
