During break I decided it would be a good idea to get on one of those gay dating apps in regards to looking for someone to hang out with (non dtf btw). After a couple days a guy who at first though was trolling me messaged me with a simple “hi”. That is finally where it all began. We briefly messaged online with the usual, “where do you go to school” and “what do you for fun” for a while until finally we shared phone numbers. Thinking he once forgot, I get a random text from him and we began to talk for the rest of the night. We’ve been texting ever since and now we’re even snapchat buddies. He’s been sending me cute videos of him lipsyncing and my face feels warm and I begin to smile instantaneously. 

This is revolutionary because A) I detest people B) I haven’t dated anyone since freshmen year of high school...I REPEAT FRESHMEN YEAR of high school. I’m 20 now, and almost 21, some might say I have been slacking in the love department. Which I completely agree with. Dating is scary though because you expect it to be another rom-com and within a year you’re married. Unfortunately I hate putting myself in a vulnerable position just because I don’t want the hassle of driving to Target to buy Kleenex because I’ve had my heart broken. I’m really excited and I get all jittery when I think of him. (I apologize if I sound like an 8th grade tween). I’m hoping it works out and I’m kinda looking forward to what happens next, which doesn’t happen often. Bon voyage

People have always told me, you have too much on your plate. Little did I know that I actually did, and chose to ignore it. Unfortunately it caught up to me and somehow it created a whirling pool of shiz in my head, bunch of thoughts: not enough time. With that being said let me share a  fun fact: I hate letting people down but at the same time I’m working on doing things for me than for other people and that’s all it comes down to. So even though some days are filled with dissapointment, I strut and smile because (smiles and hugs increase oxytocin ( a natural feel good drug)). So I won’t cry because I’m a little bitch (I actually will tbh) but I learn, and I shall rise.
