In the way I work, I am not interested in taking over your life or making you 'mine'. It's really not my thing, and I think it pushes boundaries too far. So these kinds of suggestions are similar, it very much depends on the subject I am working with. Some people love the idea more of feeling like a servant, others want to be more mechanical and machine like.

This is where fantasy and reality kind of clash. Hypnosis is not always about 'dropping'. I can have someone forget their name or become stuck to the floor without having them 'drop' or even close their eyes, but there is typically a need for the subject to engage a little. It is also possible to elicit strong emotions and give suggestions without people being in some special state. With a well trained and highly responsive subject, you could certainly hypnotise them through a very clever conversation, whether they are aware of it is going to vary. Some will know that is going on, but then claim not to have known. The hypnotist has to be careful not to fall for their own delusions of power sometimes. It can very much seem and look as if the subject has no idea of what is happening, but in many cases, there is a good deal of compliance and willingness to the experience. So if you messaged someone out of the blue without context - unlikely.
