"Is this your approach to every Pokemon?" Cresselia asked. "It seems awfully foolhardy. You do realize who I am, do you not?"

"You should drop the tone of superiority around your elders," Cresselia said. "Especially those who's powers eclipse yours in every way. Stand down, bird."

"Centuries…?" He blinked for a moment then shrugged the comment off, assuming he must have heard that wrong. "I can run ya over the basics, but I ain’t giving any of my tricks away. A master never reveals."

"But if one keeps their best ideas to themselves, how do future generations utilize them?" she asked. "I'll learn whatever you will teach me. The king is the one that ends the game, correct?"

You don’t get out much at all, do you?

"I do, in fact. And in 20,000 years, none of this has made sense to me."

"I do not, in fact. Actually, I honestly am a bit confused by Arceus' entire design of humanity. Legs? Arms? Mouths? I just don't get the necessity. He could've given you all psychic abilities and made things much easier."

"Sounds like chess to me! An’ it just takes some learnin’ and getting used to is all!"

"Well, then, would you teach me?" she asked. "I've been meaning to learn for the past couple centuries. It's such an old game, but I just never bothered."

"Well, fat, skin, and mammary glands. I can't say I understand their enjoyment of them, either. But then, the same could be said of noses: why do you need them? Why not simply have two nostrils on the center of your face?"

"Well, it does have ‘em, but there might be other games like that as well…"

"Well, um... it's played on a square board, and has a bunch of other pieces, too, if I recall correctly. And the moves are confusing!"
