ok  but  i  love  how  LONG  lacey  and  alex’s  will-they-won’t-they  situation  was  before  they  actually  got  their  shit  together .  like  it  was  around  7/8  YEARS  of  them  becoming  friends  and  hanging  out  with  each  other  and  each  other’s  friends  and  becoming  this  massive  group  and  missing  each  other  when  the  other  one  was  at  home  in  the  uk  or  on  tour  and  6.969  literally  started  from  nothing  and  became  alex’s  living  and  lacey’s  skits  became  pitches  and  pitches  became  actual  tiny  webseries  and  webseries  became  visibility  so  she  actually  started  to  get  work .  and  all  the  while  she  realised  she  was  in  love  with  him  it  was  painful  at  times  but  at  other  times  they’d  go  on  road  trips  and  get  pissed  while  hanging  out  the  back  of  a  tent ,  wondering  where  they’ll  be  in  10  years .  and  they’re  just  chilling  on  the  sofa  one  day  and  alex  is  just  like ….  okay .  can  i  kiss  you ?         and  her  mind  is  just  OVERWHELMED  and  after  they  start  dating  they  keep  making  jokes  about  ruining  their  friendship  and  a  year  after  that  they’re  pretty  solid  and  they  announce  it  to  fans  by  RELEASING  A  HILARIOUS  MUSIC  VIDEO  and  everyone’s  like  omg.  half  of  them  didn’t  even  know  they  knew  each  other  because  they’d  missed  lacey’s  subtle  cameos  in  other  videos  and  alex’s  laugh  from  behind  the  camera  in  some of  lacey’s. 

I  JUST  HAVE  A  LOT  OF  FEELINGS .  it’s  like ,  they  had  to  become  completely  comfortable  with  the  other  before  even  going  there  but  even  after  that  they’re  just  stupid  idiots  who  can’t  admit  things  like  hONESTLY  around  4  years  in  lacey  tells  hazel  while  drunk  but  hazel  remembers  it  and  it’s   like  their  little  secret  like  ‘lace  why  dont  you  think  he  likes  you’  and  she’d  literally  shrug  and  go  ‘im  not  his  type’  because  he’s  having  things  and  flings  with  blonde  haired  beachy  white  girls ,  not  crazy  anxious  hyper  brown  girls  and  she’s  trying  to  move  on  but  she  can’t  really  get  any  guy  to  look  at  her  because  she  knows  that’s  not  what  she  actually  wants . and  while  this  was  like  a  pattern  in  her  life  of  liking  people  who  never  like  her  back ,  she  misses  him  more  than  she  ever  missed  anyone  else  when  they’re  apart  and  no  matter  how  hard  she  tries  she  can’t  just  ‘get  over  him’  like  she  did  with  the  others .   because  the  more  she  knows  him  and  the  longer  time  stretches  on ,  the  more  she  falls  for  him  and  that’s  never  happened  before  with  anyone .  and  alex  is  so  traumatised  by  previous  relationships  and  how  his  mother  and  father  worked  out  (which  is  the  same  with  lacey  -  she’s  scared  of  getting  trapped  in  a  loveless  place)  that  he  just  doesn’t  want  to  get  hurt  or  hurt  anyone  else  so  just  stays  sleeping  here  and  there  sometimes  which  is  fine  it’s  just  it  hurts  her  when  she  hears  about  it  from  him  the  next  day  .  it’s  truly  like .  i  love  how  when  alex  is  finally  sure  about  her ,  he’s  SURE .  and  they  last  because  they’ve  stuck  out  YEARS  of  loving  each  other  platonically  already .  they  survive  because  YES  they’re  EXTREMELY  compatible  (i  mean  it’s  almost  scary  sometimes)  but  half  of  that  is  because  they’ve  been  around  each  other  for  so  long .  

and  the  fact  is  that ,  after  all  this  time  and  after  their  friendship  never  dying ,  they  still  so  INTENSELY  care  about  each  other .  sometimes  it’s  ridiculous .  but  it’s  just  lasted  for  so  long  and  has  never  faded  and  oMG  screams  this  is  all  ur  fault  amy  @startnght
