If a random toon starts singing out of nowhere about love or pain etc, will other toons join in like in the movies?
Like where suddenly they all know what lyrics to sing even tho they don’t anything about the situation just “Oh this guys singing, guess we gotta sing as well”.
(I hope you know what I’m talking about)
In my heart.... yes.
The rule of funny cartoon musical always reigns supreme in my mind

Mmmmmm Mugman somehow ends up in the past and accidentally adopting/kidnapping Bendy and Boris from the Catholic orphanage they were at because he saw how a few of the nuns were treating Bendy just because he couldn't talk. They didn't want to let him, but one of the crankiest old nuns wandered up, looked him up and down and agreed to it. There wasn't any paperwork to fill out, and the other nuns were outraged that she did that, but she just argues back that CLEARLY they couldn't care for the child. He was better off with some stranger who saw what was so clearly wrong and decided to do something than a bunch of women claiming gods work! When Alice hears about this she demands Mugman take her with because she was treated better but not much and Bendy and Boris where her only friends. Mugman would look so hopelessly at the old nun who would nod in agreement and just sigh. What's one more kid anyway? So Mugman has accidentally became the guardian to the Demon he hates, the wolf that caused him to shoot his brother and this random angel/demon girl. But Boris and Bendy aren't who they will become. Bendy is withdrawn and Boris is protective and Alice is fraying at the edges. They are children who had been forced to deal with an unkind world due to how they were born. Luckily Mugman has experience even if it was just keeping his brother alive. So he does what he can. Bendy opens up under the smallest bit of understanding. He visibly brightens when one day Mugman responds to something he had signed to Boris and Alice. His hands never seemed to stop after that, and when Mugman doesn't try to force him to talk he seems to begin to trust him. Alice flourished under any attention which worried Mugman. She would be shocked at first that he gave her any attention separate from the boys, especially because he didn't want her. Only he knew that his comment that he didn't want Bendy or Boris either wasn't a joke. She did get more comfortable asking him for things though. Boris was harder to get to relax, but he did. It took Mugman punching a stranger who had been hurling insults and objects at Bendy while Alice and Boris tried to act as shields, but he at least started trusting Mugman.
On the other hand Mugman is spiralling. He has NO IDEA where his brother is. He has NO IDEA how to raise children. Heck! He doesn't legally exist or even have a home! He has three kids to look after, no where to go and no way to make money. It's as they are traveling, the kids, luckily enough, still happy to be away from the nuns that Mugman realizes that he was in the past. Elder Kettle would be alive. So without any other plan he heads to his old home with three kids and no idea what he is going to say when he sees his Elder again.
Turned out he didn't have to say anything. Kettle saw him and flew into a rage, calling him by his father's name. Mugman has to draw his attention to the scared children and swore they would talk. Kettle settled enough, offering the kids to come inside for food, but not letting Mugman inside. While his wards were being settled Mugman let himself look around at his old home. It was early so that the younger version of himself and Cups were probably out and causing trouble. Mugman had to decide what path he was going down. Would he tell Kettle the truth? Or would he lie? He got so lost in his thoughts that he did notice the gate open, but he did hear the small broken gasp,
'Dad?' he looked up and saw Cuphead. Cuphead, whole and young and only a small crack from where he had fallen from a rock. His younger counterpart was behind him, clinging to Cuphead and looking nervous. He watched as Cuphead's face crumpled into one of anger and sadness as he charged towards him. He is yelling as he hits him, and Mugs just watched as his brother hit this person he called dad. Mugman let Cuphead vent until he was panting then so carefully wrapped him in a firm hug.
'I am so sorry that I left you,' and for Mugman those words held so much more meaning than either of the boys would understand.
'Why?'
'Oh, Cuppy. Things got... Complicated.'
'Are... Are you going to leave again?' It was Mugs that spoke, inching his way closer with such longing that Mugman opened his other arm to let him fall into the embrace.
'I can't promise that. I want to. More than anything I want to, but I need to make sure you're safe.' Mugman would say it like a vow because he would mean it like that. He would not let anyone hurt them the way Mugman and his brother had been. That gets Cuphead emotional again which makes Mugs emotional and Kettle is mad they came back early but now he has to wait to yell at his nephew. Inside Boris, Bendy and Alice are eating and all the kids paused to stare at each other. Mugman placed Cuphead and Mugs in the open chairs.
'Who are you?' Alice asked.
'Who are you?' Cuphead shot back. Mugs would probably step in and introduce themselves before Alice would do the same.
'Why are you here?' Cuphead demanded. Alice pointed to Mugman.
'He kidnapped us!'
'I did not kidnap you.'
'You kidnapped my friends and I made you take me with.'
'The nun let me take them and all but forced me to take you with.'
'Because you threatened them.'
'I didn't threaten anyone.'
'You kinda did.' Boris spoke up. Bendy nodding happily in response. Mugman sighed so deeply his whole body shook with it and looked tiredly at Elder Kettle.
'A few nuns were trying to force Bendy to speak, resulting in... Corporal means of persuasion.'
'But... He's a demon?' Mugs stated in confusion.
'Whats that gotta do with him being mute?' Cuphead asked. Right, he wouldn't be in school.
'Demons are mute till they get older, but even then it takes them some time to get used to words, so even if he could talk right now it would be, maybe a few words... Right?' Bendy nodded so enthusiastically Boris had to grab his chair to keep him from falling.
'Most of the nuns didn't care.' Boris grumbled.
'Except for Sister Cadence! She is suuuuuupppppppper cranky! And old!' Alice says with a grin. 'She made the other nuns let him kidnap us!'
'Please stop telling everyone I kidnapped you. The police will get involved and if you are lucky you get to stay with Elder Kettle, if you aren't then you go to a different orphanage.'
'But... You kind of did. None of the sisters had you file paperwork to take us...?' Boris pointed out.
'Walter, a word.' Kettle growled. Alice muffled a laugh.
'Your name is Walter?'
'You never told them your name?' Kettle sounded so fed up, 'For however long you had them, you never told them your name?' Mugman shrugged helplessly in response.
'I thought I did.'
'Nope!' Alice cheered.
'And you never asked.' Alice just shrugged.
'We kinda just figured we'd call you Dad or uncle or something.'
'We will be discussing this later. Come on Walter, now.' Mugman resigns himself to being dragged out by his handle as all his.... Kids? Watched. He got dragged all the way to the fence before Kettle started yelling his questions.
'What were you thinking? Actually where have you been? Where is your wife? Why are you coming back now? You have been gone for 8 years!' So Mugs and Cups were 9.
'I don't know,' Mugman answered honestly, 'I don't know where she is, I don't know what happened after I left this house. I just know that I .... Kettle just watched with sad eyes as he realized how lost his nephew had become. He pulled Mugman into a tight hug stopping his rambles
'We will get through this Walter. We will figure this out. Right now let's get you fed and cleaned up hm?' Mugman nodded dejectedly, 'Tonight I will care for the kids and tomorrow we will start with the easiest problem. Figuring out what story we will tell everyone who thought you were dead, and how the kids fit into this. After that you are going to spend time with your boys while I get to know my newest niece and nephews.'
'How do you think Cuphead will react knowing Bendy and Alice are older than him and Mugman?' He asked, voice thick with tears.
'He is going to use it for evil. Mark my words.' Kettle responded in fond exasperation.
'...Boris has four older siblings now.'
'You have 5 kids.' Kettle shot back, 'Don't worry, I'm going to help, but you are going to have your plate full.'

The group was finally reunited, sprawled around the living room, half-watching a sports game Mugman insisted was important. The volume was on, but no one was really paying attention. Too much catching up, too many familiar faces in one place again.
Bendy stretched his arms and glanced around. “So… anyone feel like drinking something?”
Cuphead’s head snapped up immediately. “YES.”
Mugman groaned. “Please don’t say beer.”
“Yeah,” Mugman added, rubbing his temples. “Do you have anything that’s not beer?”
Bendy shrugged. “I’ve got some mixers. One of my coworkers gifted them to me. No idea how you’re supposed to use half of them.”
Cuphead was already on his feet. “Say less. I got this.”
He grabbed the bottles like they were old friends and turned back to the group. “Alright—orders.”
“Vodka,” Mugman said instantly.
“Beer,” Bendy added, pointing.
Cuphead nodded, then turned to Boris. “You?”
Boris shook his head firmly. “No alcohol. Soda’s fine.”
Cuphead gave him a thumbs-up. “Mocktail it is.”
The kitchen lights flicked on, and just like that, the game was forgotten.
Everyone watched.
Cuphead moved with easy confidence, magic flickering faintly at his fingertips—little sparks of color that danced through the air as he worked. Ice clinked into metal cups, frost forming instantly where his fingers brushed the glass. Citrus zest twisted itself free in neat spirals, hovering before dropping perfectly into place.
For Mugman, Cuphead crushed fresh mint between his palms, releasing a sharp, green scent that filled the room. Lime juice followed, bright and biting, then vodka poured with careful precision. Ginger beer fizzed loudly as it hit the glass, sending bubbles racing upward. The drink glowed faintly silver-green before settling into a crisp Moscow Mule, cold enough to sting just by looking at it.
For Bendy, Cuphead poured dark beer into a tall glass, then slowly added a raspberry cider. The liquids layered beautifully before he tilted the glass, letting them swirl together into a deep ruby-brown. A sweet, tart aroma rose from it—berries cutting through the bitterness. A Raspberry Snakebite, rich and unexpected.
Cuphead’s own drink came next—vodka again, cranberry juice blooming pink as it mixed, a splash of lime snapping everything into balance. He twisted an orange peel over the glass, oils sparkling like tiny stars before dropping it in. The Cosmopolitan shimmered a confident rose color.
Finally, Boris’s.
Cuphead poured cola over ice, the fizz popping energetically, then added warm spices—cinnamon, clove, a hint of cardamom. A squeeze of lime softened the sweetness, and the scent turned deep and comforting. The Masala Coke glowed amber-brown, steam just barely rising from the spice.
Cuphead slid the drinks across the counter one by one.
Mugman took a sip first—and immediately lifted his glass. “Perfect as always.”
Bendy tasted his next, eyes widening. “Okay. That’s… actually amazing. I didn’t know beer could taste like that.”
Boris sipped his mocktail, tail wagging instantly. “Oh. Oh this is good.”
Cuphead smiled, relief warm in his chest, and finally took a sip of his own.
Bendy leaned back, watching him. “How are you so good at this anyway?”
Cuphead hesitated, then shrugged lightly. “When I was a kid… my dad drank a lot.”
The room went quiet.
“One time,” Cuphead continued, “he tossed a glass at me and told me to make him something with whiskey. I had no idea what I was doing, so I mixed by color instead of measurements. He liked how strong it was.”
Mugman snorted. “Of course he did.”
Cuphead chuckled softly. “Yeah. But he said it looked like shit. Which—fair. So he taught me how to make drinks that actually matched their flavor.”
Boris glanced at Mugman. “Did you ever do that too?”
Mugman burst out laughing. “Nope. I poisoned him once.”
Bendy blinked. “Once?”
“He tried to teach me anyway,” Mugman said, wiping his eyes. “Gave up and told me to stick to potions. And here we are.”
They clinked glasses—alcoholic and not—and for a moment, everything felt settled.

Headcanon about Mugman and Cuphead with their earlier life, especially when dealing with the Devil and with King Dice.
Nothing to do with ships, but there are sensitive topics like abuse and mentioned suicide
*Elder Kettle died when the boys were pretty young
*Cuphead went to the casino to try and earn enough money to keep him and Mugs together because they couldn't live by themselves in the cottage but no one wanted a set
*The Devil took FULL advantage of his desperation and the fact Cups can't read.
*Mugs developed SEVER separation anxiety
*When Cuphead back talked too much the Devil slowly crushed Mugman's head and stole the tiny part that let him speak. When the Devil decided the punishment was over he repeated the process to put it back
*When Mugman failed his shots too much the Devil would break Cuphead's arm. Started with the fingers then moved his way up. He stopped at the shoulder by the time he was satisfied. Mugman continued to train until he wouldn't miss another shot.
*Mugman had one solo collection. It was against Wally. Cuphead couldn't do it. He couldn't make his kid an orphan especially because of what happened with him and Mugs. The Devil told Mugman either he collects Wally's contract or he collects his brother's.
*Their chains from the Deal are rusted and the chain is broken but it's not gone.
*He calls them his toys/weapons/etc.
*He likes to puppeteer Cuphead and makes him fight Mugman
*They have claimed that the other did something wrong to take the punishment (ex: Cuphead would say Mugman made the deal with Bendy so that he (Cuphead) would take the punishment instead)
*When the devil knows it's a lie he makes it Hurt
*Cuphead is suicidal because the Devil never let him DIE. Sure he's died, but they weren't allowed to stay dead, and even now it doesn't stick, so who cares if he gets shot? It lets him rest for a bit and it doesn't stick anyway. Even if he COULD let it stick, he couldn't not look for a way out. He CANT leave his brother alone. Not again.
*Mugman is the actual insane one and Cuphead knows it and he blames himself. He acts out more though, let's people assume that 'Crackhead' is a few shards short. It keeps Mugs safe and from spiralling, AND lets people underestimate both of them. (Cuphead with how smart he is and Mugman with how brutal he can be)
*King Dice actually took up a parental role for the boys. He was in a similar state when he first joined the Devil and they are children. A child should have never been able to get into the casino.
*He teaches them how to behave when the Devil is there (expressionless, empty, uncaring) but as soon as he's gone Dice is the first to start fussing and trying to heal them up.
*He would betray the Devil in a heartbeat if it meant those boys could be safe, but he has to be careful because if he failed then there would be no one in their corner.
*He has taken some of the harsher punishments for the boys
*They call Dice dad sometimes. They never knew their real parents and Kettle was always Elder Kettle. They were never allowed to call him anything different.
*Dice helped teach them what he could about Dishculture, especially cups but they tend to be a secretive lot so it isnt much to go off of.
*The boys can heal themselves with porcelain not their own but it is very painful. It's one reason they carry dip, to help soften the pieces so they can put them in place. (Break a plate and grind some of it into dust and add a bit of DIP to the powder to make a paste. Use the paste to attach the plate pieces)
*Any dishfolk would be absolutely horrified by this. It would probably be similar to taking pig skin and sewing it on for a person
*Mugs and Cups can make DIP if they have the ingredients but Cups prefers having Mugs do it because he is so worried he'll mess up because he can't read.
*The Devil still owns them technically
*King Dice gave both of them a single dice to roll if they are ever in trouble. Sometimes a little bit of luck can change fate. They have never used them because they are worried about what will happen if they do (Will the Devil come, will dad Dice? Would he get in trouble with the Devil if they used it??)
*King Dice always called Mugman soft, but affectionately, and Cups agreed. Mugman always took it as an insult/failure.
Thanks to @zilverkinesis for helping me with this au!
The ceramics (The Heathers)
Chalice
Head cheerleader! Sweet, playfull and mischievous. A bit dependent to Cuphead and her friends, and she's the only one that don't hate Bendy. Her dad is loaded, Her dad is a well-known salesman! She love her dada.
Bowlboy
Runs the yearbook! An attention eater, leader's soul, and a lil hater. No discernible personality, but his mom did pay for all his beauty routine. Cuphead and Chalice's "friend" but such a Bendy hater. He wants to be Cuphead.
Cuphead
The almighty! Handsome, talented, and volatile, arrogant to the core. Chalice is his best friend and Bowl.. yea, hes a friend too, Ig. His tutor is the right-hand man of the owner of a popular casino; don't ask him about his family anyway, he doesn't want to remember any of it. He's a mythic bitch.
The gang (Idk how to call them..)
Bendy
"a mortal turned into an angel", poetically speaking. Creative, honest, and loyal… that's what it's supposed to be, let's see how long it lasts! Boris keeps telling him not to lose himself, but when you reach the top, you do everything to stay there.
Boris and Shelly
Boris, Bendy's younger brother, always worried about him. Shy, anxious, and withdrawn, he doesn't have many friends apart from his brother and Shelly, his brother's best friend. He's bad at social relationships and holding conversations. Bendy tries to force him to socialize, but he always makes excuses.
Shelly, Bendy's dreamer best friend. Always with an active mind and dreamns worthy of Fairytale, you can always go to her if you are willing to see the same old princess movies or wanna hear cool dinosaur facts. she tries best.
And yea! If this a blueink au OBVIOUSLY Mugman it's JD, he and Cups have a lot to work out AND I HAVE A LOT TO SHOW YOU ABOUT THEM! :33
ANYWAY! original au, it's Myth @myth-of-the-machine! created by @nortsauce and @flygutzz but I think everyone know, but it costs nothing to give them the credits they deservs :3
I'll still posting about this au soon, but for now BYE BYE FELLAS!!
It was a calm afternoon when Cuphead arrived at their cozy apartment, holding little Cindy’s hand after picking her up from daycare. The building buzzed faintly with city noise, but all Cuphead could hear was Cindy’s endless chatter and giggles. Her little fingers clutched a flower tightly, its petals slightly crumpled from the grip of toddler hands.
As they entered the apartment, the familiar warmth of home embraced them. Inside, Bendy was pacing slowly, rocking a slightly cranky Mady in his arms. It was one of those days when Bendy had decided to skip work and stay home with the kids, his eyes a little tired but glowing with that soft, fatherly patience.
The moment Cindy saw her other dad, she squealed, “DADDY!” and ran up to him. Bendy grinned, handing Mady off to Cuphead with an exaggerated sigh of relief.
But that’s when Bendy noticed the flower.
And then he noticed Cuphead holding back laughter.
“What?” Bendy asked, already suspicious. “What’s so funny?”
Cuphead chuckled as he shifted Mady to one arm, already anticipating Bendy’s reaction. “You’re gonna love this,” he smirked. “Cindy, tell Daddy what happened at pick-up.”
Cindy lit up, practically bouncing in place. “Well! I was saying goodbye to my friends and teacher, and then Andrew gave me this flower before I left! He said he’s going to miss me so much!” she said with a proud grin. “Then he hugged me and gave me a little kiss on the cheek!”
Bendy froze.
The flower. The hug. The kiss.
And Andrew.
Bendy’s smile didn’t quite reach his eyes now. “Wow, honey… that’s… VERY sweet,” he said with a trembling voice, trying desperately to stay calm. “And, uh… very affectionate from your little… friend…”
Cindy nodded enthusiastically. “He’s not just my friend, Daddy! He’s my boyfriend! I really like him!”
Bendy’s heart cracked audibly in his chest. He stood like a statue, the sound of a thousand thunderclaps echoing in his mind as the dreaded era began—the era of boys. His baby girl… was in love?
He didn’t say a word, his mind racing. He pictured a mischievous little boy with too much confidence trying to win over his sweet Cindy, imagined this "Andrew" planning their next hug, maybe another kiss, maybe a wedding—no no NO.
Cuphead, clearly enjoying every moment of Bendy’s emotional crisis, snorted. “Young love, huh? Isn’t it beautiful?” he teased, grinning. “I talked to Andrew’s mom, by the way. The kids are gonna have a play date soon so they can spend more time together.”
Bendy blinked slowly. A play date? A PLANNED ENCOUNTER?
His knees nearly gave out.
“Cindy,” Bendy asked slowly, kneeling beside her, his voice calm but betraying the storm in his chest. “You really like this boy?”
Cindy beamed. “Yes! I wanna marry him someday!”
That was it.
Bendy turned pale, tears welling silently in his eyes. He wasn’t ready for this. Not emotionally. Not spiritually. His daughter was still supposed to be painting with fingers and watching cartoons, not planning weddings with a boy who stole a kiss.
Cuphead, holding Mady, leaned against the doorframe smugly, watching Bendy’s descent into full-blown jealous dad mode.
Bendy sniffled, his face twitching with emotion as he whispered, “I raised a heartbreaker... and now she’s the one getting her heart stolen…” His voice cracked as he dramatically placed a hand on his chest. “My baby… my innocent baby…”
Cuphead couldn’t help but burst into laughter. “Oh man… wait ‘til prom.”
Bendy stared at the flower again, as if it were the cursed symbol of his worst nightmare, then looked at Cindy’s joyful face.
He loved her so much it hurt… but now the pain came with a tiny, flower-giving, cheek-kissing rival named Andrew.

Okay so every time I get into a fandom I like imagining one big cluster fuck of a cross over and this one involved MotM, Casino Cups, QftiM and the regular videogame and cartoon.
From there lots of background info BUT Motm Mugman going around the casino as Tallulah and QfitM Cuphead being interested and awkwardly going to her when she's alone. Tallulah softening towards him (I really think Myth Mugs and Quest Cups would NOT get along originally) and understanding.
She takes him under her wing and dolls him up and introduces her as her younger sister or something.
Just Quest Cups being more interested in drag and being so awkward about it.
(Sorry it's a bit rambling, lots to do, not a lot of time)
CEMETERY I'M GOING TO FUCKIN. DIOXIDE G3OGF I LOVE YOU SM CEMETERY OMG DRAG Q CUPHEAD IS SO FUCKING SMART OMG YES EYS YES YES
I also like imagining crossovers so I completely get it, so this idea is really cute to me - especially cause I love q Cuphead.. For some reason.
If you haven't seen it already, I'd highlysuggest looking up @biposi 's ink brothers au if you want a quest and myth crossover au
Now, because I am completely enthralled by drag quest Cuphead, I'm gonna find a name n outfit for her (and maybe draw her). Now for names I'm thinking something like Lady Luck, Lady Marmalade (like the song), Rosé Rouge, or Duchess Diamond. I was also debating Lady Milkshake just to fuck with people. If you got a name already than ignore this
Now outfits!! Of which I have a.. few options.
I can also find hairstyles too! Because quest Cuphead is definitely styling his fuckass hair
I also adore the idea of Mugman being his drag mother! Even more so if they don’t get along originally. Bonding over the fabulousness of wearing fake tits
Always yap, yes yes. Especially about drag queen quest Cuphead
