I loved this scene in episode 1 because we’ve seen Maeve determined to get what she wanted. This happened after she met Otis in the hallway. He gets her better than anyone else, he believes in her and Maeve is definitely more self-confident when she is around him, and that kind of reminded me of all the times Otis encouraged her to stand up for herself and to show everyone how smart she really is.


He makes her wanna believe in more than four chairs and some windows.


So don’t tell me shit about him not deserving her after what he did in season 2 and at the party. Yes, he made a mistake, but he is an insecure teenage boy who got dumped by his girlfriend after she made him choose between her and Maeve. Maeve on the other hand, was selfish to tell him she liked him when he was still with Ola.


So YES, I get why he behaved like that, he was hurt and drunk. He is not a bad guy. He clearly makes bad choices but then makes up for them.
