road is one of the disciples of the noah family ( the ninth to be precise ), a group of mortal individuals that inherited and awakened a gene within themselves that has elevated them into near-immortal beings. 

the noah have supposedly seen the world for ‘what it really is’ and therefore continue the battle started by the original noah family, something that dates back to the book of genesis of the old testament. it wasn’t a flood that wiped out humanity, but the war between noah and innocence. 

road, despite assuming the appearance of a child, is assumed to be the oldest disciple alive as she was the only survivor of the ‘thirteenth’ killing the previous incarnations - with this being an event that happened thirty years ago. 

that won’t stop her from acting childish though.

that said, she is also prone to extreme displays of sadism - particularly towards exorcists and those who work with them. she has on more than one occasion stated that humans are below her and likely continues to think that way.

an excellent actress though, given that her family have successfully been able to blend into human society in their home of london, masquerading as nobles with a powerful position within the british government. 

honestly though, most of road’s history is unknown. 

this is literally the best way to describe it.

she loves her family, her fellow noah, a whole lot. they’re the most important thing in her life. 

if you fuck with them, she is coming for your ass.
