Before i had to move, my whole life i had lived with my great grandma, who has always had financial problems, so we were always living in a shitty small 1-2 bedroom houses (with always more than 3 people living with us) and tons and tons of animals, so our houses were always either infested with ticks, flees, and/or roaches. My aunt has pretty much always lived with us, and i have never met someone so disgusting. Nothing was ever clean, and i never had the chance to wear expensive brand named clothing unless it was from goodwill (which i still have no problem with, but thats not the point) ive lived in a very very small town in Tennessee, that wasnt good for anything unless you wanted mexican food, drugs, or STD's. That town will ruin your life, and almost nobody ever leaves it. I had a horrible reputation only because of rumors and i had a terrible drug problem, i was extremely depressed, and it just wasnt okay. Now i go to one of the best schools in my state (no longer Tennessee! Yay!) I live in a two story house, i finally can walk barefoot in my house without stepping in piss or shit, and even though im still not very wealthy, im more than happy. My lifestyle has changed completely (besides marijuana of course, but whats wrong with that?) And im extremely proud of everything ive pushed myself to become. So if anyone ever says "youll never make it just like the rest of us never do" or "youll never change, youll just fall even more downhill" or anything in that matter, say "fuck em'" and prove them wrong. Things get better, they ALWAYS do. You just have to try.
