Kai just blinked at that in surprise. “O-Oh… uh.. thank you.." He stated, realizing that it must be hers originally. He honestly didn’t know what this Junes place was either. He gazed at it for a moment before he looked to her. There was just something about her that seemed to calm him. He guessed it wouldn’t hurt to hang out with her for a little bit… “I’m not sure how well I know Junes too well… I’m not from around here you see… why don’t you show me around and in thanks I’ll get us both a treat?"

Max tried to shrug off the feeling of loniless the house eminated, bustling around to the kitchen. “Make yourself at home, Kai!"
Kai watched him for a moment before he looked around again. "I have to admit.... I don't believe I've ever been to your house before...." It seemed Kai was at least attempting to make some kind of conversation so as to dispel some of the lonliness in this house. He had to admit while he was used to it, knowing it came from the blond..... it didn't seem right which made it more uncomfortable then he liked.Â

So! It's August 2nd. I'm going to be doing my absolute best to be hanging out on this blog and answering replies and all that as much as I can. It's a special day after all. Does anyone know why?Â

Gou knew his father well enough to know he was being baited, he wasn’t interested in attacking Dranzer just yet so he ignored the other’s words in favour of making the ice as thick as he possibly could now he had his partner adding bumps and grooves in the invisible ice to throw Dranzer off her game just a bit more.
"Pay attention instead of baiting me… I’ve leveled the playing field while you were busy taunting me." he stated calmly as sure enough only now did the ice phoenix reappear. “Now, give me your best!"
Kai blinked at that, raising an eyebrow. It seemed that Gou really was his son after all. He wasn't going to be easily baited it seemed, so he might need to try a different strategy. Though of course, he wasn't going to let even his son in on this.Â
"Leveled the playing field hm? We'll see about that." He stated as even Dranzer seemed to be letting out a deep coo in response. Now they were interested in what it was that Gou had planned for them. However, unlike Takao who would have just rushed in, Kai was going to try and plan things through. His eyes narrowed a bit as he took everything into consideration, Dranzer already beginning to circle the dish a bit as they tried to keep an eye out for what Gou had done. However they noticed soon after beginning to circle how hard it was to keep traction on this dish. Dranzer squawked out in surprise when she slipped.Â

Kai was silent for a moment. “I have.. many demons. Though, I believe the worst would have to be a tie between one of two events that has plagued my thoughts. One, being how horribly I treated my old companions once I’d been so easily overcome by Black Dranzer’s strength. The second…. being when my thoughtlessness and pride cost a young boy that looked up to me so his life…"Â

"My…. sexual preference…?" He stated in pure surprise before he hummed, seeming amused. “I don’t really have a sexual preference. I’m not currently looking for a relationship but… when I am interested in finding… someone. Gender won’t matter. That is only a physical attribute. Kai couldn’t stop the eyebrow raise at this one. “This.. I thought would be an obvious one." He stated after a moment before shaking his head in amusement and answering. “Honestly, I rather prefer the quiet areas. A small park, a forest, even just resting in a grassy field. It gives me time to think and plan possible strategies, even just relax and think about nothing at all. It coincides with solitude, something that I enjoy while I can. That, and loud noises, chaos and all that, they remind me far too much of the Abbey I… grew up in. It wasn’t a pleasant place to be."Â

Considering the only ‘Dragon Emperor’ I know and acknowledge is Takao that might not be so bad. Kai refused to fall for the bait that the other was currently giving him. He would not even give the other the pleasure of a response to this idiocy. If they were going to push on this subject of him being weak they obviously didn’t know him well enough for him to be affected by their words. He just continued working on blowing off some steam from his previous argument with the anon. If you could even call it an argument that is.Â

So Kai how does it feel to get your ass kicked by ryuga.

If it had been a fair fight I assure you I would not have been knocked out that easily." It seemed Kai was done with this conversation however as he turned to leave, fuming. The next couple hours would bring about the sound of a couple of trees falling as Kai blew off some steam.Â

"I do not have a boyfriend or girlfriend currently. A… crush perhaps. But no relationship as of yet." He stated before sighing. “However….. if I knew that my crush… would honestly be happier without me of course I would…" It was then that he looked away.
