Nogai (main character) is a warrior who serves to the Khan of the Golden Horde Batu Khan. The game takes place during the Mongols' conquests of Russia, China, Muslim lands and Eastern Europe. The game will have a record-breaking large map more than all the maps from the previous games in the series. During the walkthrough the game, the player will be given the opportunity to explore the conquest of new lands and castles.

The DLC addition to the game will be called Fire and Sand (Fire and Sand) and the player will have to travel to Egypt and Syria during the reign of Sultan Beybarys and help the sultan against aggressors from the sea and internal enemies.
