everyone relax, we're about to crash!

@raine-parade commented abt Launchpad needing glasses and I had to do this immediately. I don't think Launchpad is even in denial, he just thinks blurry world is normal world.

when Drake is talking about his childhood he says “shocking as it may sound, I was not the coolest kid growing up,” to which Launchpad responds with “what? no.” and I love it because he didn’t say it sarcastically or anything, it was actually genuine!! it just makes you realize that Launchpad really thinks that Drake’s a cool guy and i just thought that was a nice detail from that scene

then there was this exchange at the end

“oh, what am I gonna do now?”

“what Darkwing Duck always does, get back up.”

i just really think this was Launchpad seeing Drake as DW already, because you’d think his first response would be “get dangerous”, but he uses Drake’s motif from earlier. even before Drake took up the role, Launchpad, after seeing the mess Jim had become, has already begun associating Darkwing with Drake

and then afterwards he has Drake sign his poster, the one that he had ready for Jim to sign, saying “you’ve already got one fan”. just.. the level of respect he has after knowing Drake for one day is so wild, and hearing the sincerity in his voice with all of these lines..
