I cosplayed for the first time in almost a year today. The first time i put makeup on, the first time i put a wig cap on. It have beens months since I had done ANY of it. I used to cosplay every damn day. I used to post to this blog all the time with new ideas and versions of a character. It used to be my life.

Then I gained wait and grew a lot more hair after starting T and all confidence I had in my cosplay skills died. I couldn’t stand to look at myself. I still can’t most of the time. I avoid cons, meet ups and anything else to do with cosplay. Halloween is coming up and I don’t even know what i’m going to be.

I don’t know exactly why i’m posting this? Maybe just to get it off my chest. Maybe so people know why i’m not around anymore. Maybe to draw attention to the fact that unless your thin, white and conventionally attractive you get shit for anything and anyone you cosplay and it hurts.

I miss cosplaying and I’m going to try and do more but i’v said that a lot before so who knows if i actually will.
