got bit by the develop your characters bug & suddenly this guy has a name, outfit, & an outline of lore ready to go.

achlys is an arcane-born mage who separated from its pod quite some time ago, in order to follow after a dragon from the ashfall waste. however, the relationship pursued there blew up in a rather dramatic fashion & not too long after it found itself mixed up in the ongoing rebellion in the region. it stays... for more its own gain than for its new allies, but when set to a task achlys is diligent & loyal. it's more than could be said about others it knows.

when left to its own devices, achlys finds its attentiom drawn to the strange occurrences of the blacksand annex. curiosity turns to obsession rather quickly in a mind like achlys' & as such its workspace also has tomes upon tomes & much research devoted toward the area. the space it works within most days is not actually small, but is still fairly cramped for a dragon of its size. it's bad enough that achlys spends much of its time on land & relying on its magic to alter it into something slightly more suited for terrestrial movement, if it smacks its head on a doorway once more it may swat the next dragon to dare to laugh into the sea & see how they feel about it.

all in all, achlys is a rather prickly & unapproachable dragon. it likes it that way. only the folk who have something important to say bother it, & the conversations are kept to business only. usually, at least.

the red one is a coatl named Ruby! i always breed him with his wife for valentines day because the themed hatchlings are so cute and red/pink (and they make me a lot of money but shhhhhhh).

when i first saw the pink rose lace accessories in the shop i became quite horrendous staring down the clock for when daily maintenance would end and then immediately running to the marketplace to check if there was more of these funny pink roses to buy for Ruby(because the marketplace accessories are different each day)

the green one is a spiral dragon named Spoon! i need to buy more accessories for her because she is so pretty and the yellow green colors work so well.

when i first got her i went briefly insane because it was my first time seeing the filigree gene and i ended up getting. so many dragons with that gene.

for non-FRers, filigree is the name for the gene that gives her that really pretty gold accents with the red gems. i adore it to this day even though sometimes the gem colors clash

the last one is a skydancer named Noon! i got him when i was exploring a project where i wanted dragons that looked like various stages of the sky. i got pretty bored with it after a while, but still kept some of the prettier ones like him.

his genes suck ass but it's okay, he's pretty and i have plans to give him actual lore in the future along with some of my other dragons

i keep meaning to actually give my dragons lore(cuz that's a thing people do in FR) but my ass keeps getting stuck staring at them for hours entranced

Wanted to show off a few of my favorite dragons I currently have! 

Kayka - She was a birthday self hatch that I decided to keep and gene up! Literally love this girl to death and she even got a new accent! 

Fossil - Was a dragon who I randomly made in prédit morphology and someone just so happened to have her exact colors and eye color I wanted. So boom she came to life 

June - Second double to enter my lair! He fit perfectly in my autumns tab and I’ve always wanted a double black dragon so I snagged him up! 

Keiris - First g1 to enter my lair, took me forever to gene her up completely and find her accent. I absolutely adore this woman with all of my heart!
