There was still the blood, the ripping of hearts and intestines. There was still the screams.. Oh, how I loved the screams.
Bodies strewn about everywhere in the room, broken glass, furniture, and me standing at the middle, full of pride from my work of art all around me, covered in blood. And although I cannot smile physically, I smiled wickedly internally to myself. The killing was always the fun part of every mission.
There I was, about to turn and leave the scene, and thenā¦

With those words, I no longer felt alone, and finally felt like I belonged somewhere other than off killing those who I felt were so deservingā¦ In fact, from that moment, I knew Iād make this woman my wife.
