It was Em’s birthday today and so I dressed up nice. I didn’t know what to get her so I gave her me - that was, my company for the day doing whatever she wanted.

Mycroft: For me, I believe the moment I realised I deeply loved Gregory, as opposed to being merely infatuated, was three months into our relationship.

I had to cancel our dinner plans - again. I felt terrible. I was stuck dealing with a crisis well into the night. I feared that Gregory would realise that I am not worth the trouble, and that I would lose him. 

I came home at three in the morning exhausted, hungry, and miserable. And that’s when I saw him. Fallen asleep on the hearth, a fire lit, his face against a book. He’d made me dinner because he knew I wouldn’t eat once getting home otherwise. He’d waited for me. 

I can’t tell you how loved I felt in that moment, and I knew then that I was his for the rest of my life. 

Greg: It wasn’t anything so heartwarming for me. I was cooking... and it was only a few weeks in! Well, having fun making food, at least. I had some music blasting, and I was dancing around the kitchen making a complete fool of myself. Myc was coming over for dinner and I wanted to make something nice. 

He decided to surprise me and arrive four hours early. I jumped when I saw him, cream that I was whipping went all over me and splattered him. I was terrified he’d start yelling. 

G: Myc’s most endearing habit is how he refuses dessert but then eyes it so hard, looking so utterly miserable, that I end up getting him one. He then proceeds to say that he was still being good because he had the strength not to order any. He’ll snort at me for saying this but his most annoying habit is taking control of everything. I understand why, but sometimes it’s like, the point of some things is to get better at doing them, not have them done. 

Gregory snores. A lot. Initially it was a challenge, however now I find I enjoy the quiet hum. 

Occasionally, it’s too loud for me to sleep. 

He also moves - a lot - sometimes. 

And is a blanket hog. 

M: Sex. Definitely. 

G: Hm. I’d say may-

M: Improper use of the English Language! You’re/your, their/there/they’re, it’s/its ... 

G: Myc, calm down, it’s just a questi-

M: IT MATTERS!

M: I find I rarely get bored. For me, the challenge is being able to relax.
