Small primordial yap || Relationship + other information
Okay! So I wanted to make a small yap post about the primordials and their relationships + dynamics or other information especially since all the designs for the 8 are almost complete, and projects I have been making have been telling their stories.
Relationships and such whether feelings, romantic and platonic are up for interpretation- I will not confirm or deny their past relationships. If you wish to ship them or say they had something you can. As none of these demons are related blood wise.
Head cannons made such as ships or dynamics that are forced on myself to make canon will be ignored.
Overall all the primordials are what we call sworn brothers or siblings, they consider themselves (in the past) a close knit group. And have all known each other from a young age. All their training in the demonic sector such as with weapons or abilities were around one another.
Which gives each of them a good understanding of how they operate and act. And some were closer with one another as whats to be expected. That is until recent years in which the visual novel takes place.
The primordials now adays are split into two seperate factions, one side opposing the angels (these ideals can vary from primordial to primordial) and the other being neutral with said angelic beings
The opposing faction consists of Vual (primordial yellow) orias (primordial orange) asafren (primordial sky blue) cruelty (primordial green) and apathy (primordial blue)
The neutral faction is the three you will know the most which is Azarael (primordial red) Kairon (Primordial pink) and Zael (primordial purple)
In the past all the primordials served under the king of the demon sector as his loyal guardians of the land. Due to their powers and abilities it made them indispensable.
Those of higher strength in the primordial ranks made them closer compared to others. Or if they had compatible personalities.
Common groups you could see was Azarael, Kairon and Zael. Then Vual with cruelty and apathy.
But duos you'd commonly see about was Vual and Azarael. Asafren and orias. Cruelty and Kairon. Zael and apathy. Or Zael and orias.
Due to Vual and Azaraels great strength, and how long they have known each other (they are the first two primordials to ever meet. And have known each other since they were children)
they were the defacto leaders of the primordials and why you see them majorly butt heads in the future. They were close. Extremely due to how much they had to work together and have been around one another. But with future opposing ideals that has fallen apart and crumbled leaving resentment.
The primordials still care for one another. Even in the time of the visual novel. But this does not get rid of any pain or the duties they have to fulfill or people to protect...
If it comes down to it the primordials will fight one another. And even injure or kill if that means saving or making sure their own sworn siblings doesn't ruin everyone lives... Even if it costs them a great deal of emotional pain and agony.
It is why you see Azarael and Vual fight. Their ideals are opposing. And neither of them wish to fight. It is their sworn sibling, but they must if they wish to keep with what they believe is right. This also includes all the other primordials.
Their beliefs and ideals for each primordial are different between each, working with their personality. Some having more hatred towards opposing forces or contempt for what has happened.
All are valid if you look at it from their perspective. It is all gray. But their actions and how they act with their morals is where things go from gray to more able to see where a line in the sand is drawn.
The major story the Primordials is that you can have ideals and morals, but these should not drive you to do something awful even if you see it as justified. There are always other variables at play. Not one perspective is CORRECT many are. Even if they are correct for different reasons. And also WRONG for different reasons.
