For Slayers week day #3 - Lina Inverse

That being said, Lina’s rather intimate relationship with the creator of all things remains one of my favorite facets of Slayers.

I feel like an underappreciated Official™, Canon™ Slayers character is Sir Ian Hecking McKellen.

She was the first to come to mind for supporting characters this time! I still can’t get over the wtf moment where she’s fallen for Xelloss of all people >__>

OK, so I don’t know if they’re FRIENDS, per se, but they were together for their novel appearance and I’d like to think that they’d be able to bond over managing to keep themselves out of Lina’s wake thus far :’DDD I’d like to think they have fun when they see each other!

I am early by my time zone standards, but it’s July 15th already elsewhere (and I will likely forget tmrw) but for Slayers Week round 2, I feel ok sharing some of my illuminated letter practice I’ve been working on this summer! Here’s F for Filia–the ‘F’ is based off of 12th century Italian initials manuscript (per the book I checked out from work) but… it’s obvious that I made a slight addition. 😁 @slayersweek
