If you didn't know, I finally published my novel! It's got a warrior princess who rides dragons, a prophesy of coming doom, a sweet prince, a mean princess with Azula vibes, ancient magical artifacts, and so much more!! I won't claim the story is 100% perfect (debut novel here 😅), but I couldn't be prouder of the illustrations (there are over 45). And, to be honest, I'm just glad to finally have this book out in the world. Ever since I quit working on my webcomic in 2019, the disappointment of not finishing this story has loomed over my head. But now, it's out there for folks to read, and I think the format of being an illustrated novel is much better for the story and for me.

My book is now available to purchase on Amazon!!!!🥳 Why is it available before the 30th, you ask? Simple😅: KDP doesn’t have the option to set a release date for print books. You just have to hit the publish button. HOWEVER, they advise that it can take up to 72 hours for the book to be reviewed and made available. So yesterday, I hit the button in order to err on the side of caution and make sure it would be available on the date I’d advertised. And here we are! You get the book on Wednesday instead of Friday😁👏

I’m trying to focus more on original content than fanart right now, but over on IG, I’ve been trying to keep up with a Fanart Friday thing–sort of a way to strike a compromise between myself and all the followers I have who I know only follow me for fanart 😂 ANYWAY, a couple weeks ago my super amazing big sister bought me the complete Avatar: The Last Airbender series on DVD, and I promptly binged 😂 I’ve been wanting to do fanart ever since, so here is the first. I like Katara’s season 3 looks best–her hair’s so pretty when it’s down! And overall, season 3 is just my favorite. Do you have a favorite season of the show?

Christ is risen, just as He said! And in doing so, He defeated death. Jesus Christ allowed Himself to be betrayed, tortured, crucified, and buried so that three days later He could rise from the grave and make a way for us to live eternally with Him. We all deserve eternal damnation as punishment for our sins, but God loved us so much He was willing to die for us so that we would have an alternative. The ONLY way to heaven is Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your Savior. If there were another way, Jesus wouldn’t have had to die for us. He grieved terribly at the thought of the pain He would have to endure, but in obedience to the Father and with love for us, He endured it all anyway—because it was the only way to save us from our sins. No amount of good deeds, no membership to any church or denomination can save you. Only the grace of Jesus Christ can save us.
Thank you, Jesus, for being willing to die for me and this messed up world. We don’t deserve it, but You love us that much.
