What is this au about?

Corruption Scars is an au that is canon divergent, breaking off at the start of Fragments. It breaks off when Steven runs away, as he begins to corrupt, but very slowly due to being half-organic. Jasper rescues him and the two begin to live together while his family searches for him, all while inside of him his corruption is slowly beginning to worsen.

How old is this au?

Corruption Scars has been a thing since 2020! It started as me and a pal discussing the 'what-ifs' of Steven keeping corruption scars, which snowballed quickly into me formulating an entire au based off of it! The actual blog has existed for...uh...maybe as long? I forget lol.

I was planning on making the fight between Steven and Jasper its own chapter and saving The Big One for chapter 8, but with how things are going and how my brain is treating me I’m debating on making chapter 6 long as hell and kickstarting the most climatic part off in chapter 7. I just need to know if my readers think this formatting would work or if I should save the fight for chapter 7.
