Picture this: the plot of Obsession but with Richter Belmont and Olrox. It’s an alternate universe where Mizrak never meets Olrox and Richter is more in tune with his Speaker ancestry.

Olrox still killed Richter’s mother Julia. Richter, wary of the news that Olrox arrived in France, finds the Castlevania version of the One Wish Willow, except it’s fused with powerful Speaker magician magic. Belmont snaps the stick thinking the spell will keep Olrox away due to his fear.

This goes horribly wrong. He didn’t break a Willow to defect Olrox away from him, he broke a Willow that makes the Aztec vampire obsessed with him. Richter notices little things at first, small lilies laid out on his pillow while alone in the cottage, a sudden lack of night creatures close to his home, he wakes up swearing he heard a voice crooning into his ear in Spanish and Nahuatl.

It gets to the point that night creatures avoid him entirely, no vampires go hear him, Drolta doesn’t even dare to try. He’s safe, but he’s also isolated. It all comes to a head when Richter looks out his bedroom window one night and sees his nightmare made flesh that’s haunted him since he was a child. Olrox stares at him with clear devotion despite being coated in night creature blood. Belmont can try to run or hide, but knows it’s useless. The Aztec is obsessed with him now, to the point of killing anyone he sees as Richter’s enemy and then crooning over Belmont like a sacred treasure. 🩸⚜️

Not my fanfiction being acknowledged out in the wild like that. 💀 I also saw it being mentioned on Pinterest one time and damn near choked on my Diet Coke.

Although I’ll also be typing out a story set after the DLC with my Wanderer/Orestes and how he copes with everything. It’ll be called Alone Again and hopefully be on AO3 as well. It’s definitely going to have spoilers for basically everything in the game.

10/10. I’ll be crying when I play through this again with the Warlock.

I know that the game developers left the class of The Wanderer up for interpretation, but I find some sweet irony that she lost her son Linarian/Rathma and found some sense of solace in another male Necromancer that follows her son’s teachings. 🩶🩸

I’m currently playing through Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred and having a blast so far. Seeing The Wanderer tilting their head at the Sightless Eye is oddly endearing. Like a confused puppy. 💙🖤

Cleopatra’s former palace is almost swelteringly hot if not for the cool sandstone and shade offered from the pillars. Gaius Octavius has been in Egypt for well over a month now.

Alexandria had officially fallen only days ago, with the muffled shouts of his soldiers still echoing up from the city.

Marcus Antonius is dead, choosing to die by his own sword than face the man he used to call boy.

Cleopatra is dead as well, from the bite of a cobra, as Octavius will soon tell his men. Her son Caesarion will soon be dead as well, if the messages from Rhodon are any indication.

For now, he enjoys the silence of the palace, leaning against one of the pillars with his arms crossed. His palace now, by right of conquest. He walks to the Egyptian throne alone and sits on it for a moment.

It seems fitting, somehow, that the seat of Pharaohs that housed the likes of Thutmose and Tutankhamun would have the son of Julius Caesar taking their place. 🌿☀️

My hand is in shambles. Lol. 🌿☀️
