Chuck a hot water bottle into the freezer overnight or for a few hours when it's least warm and take it out when the heats trying to kill you and its the best fucking relief ever. If you need something immediate just pull out a frozen pack of veggies from your fridge. I just hold it between my arms and it does actually help.

I like the idea of Gen being like an actual published psychologist. Like I firmly belive that he has written psychology papers and had them published in academic journals, whether or not he got a PhD is up for debate but I wouldn't put it past him. He obviously doesn't tell anyone or go around talking about it because it ruins his superficial image but I think he's always liked magic and preforming but got a degree as a backup. (Look this guys had backup plans after backup plans I refuse to believe he just started preforming magic without something to fall back on and if thats being a certified psychologist then so be it)

He wrote a few papers but stopped once around the time he became more popular, mostly about social/cognitive psych (think conformity but also like counseling, therapy ect) and it drives senku insane. Like Senku has read his papers he knows how smart Gen actually is and his insanely talented mentalist keeps playing dumb as if he hasn't written essays on brain scans snd neural pathways.

Like it's pretty obvious his memory is freakishly good if not picture perfect but I think the idea that he's slowly forgetting Byakuyas face hurts in the perfect way and its not even that hes forgetting but he thinks hes forgetting because nothing looks quite right anymore. He can picture his voice and remember his fair but he's slowly forgetting what his eyes look like or his smile, he's forgetting his father and its slowly killing him inside.

It's the small things at first like he doesn't quite remember how much his eyes crinkled when he smiled or how his eyebrows moved when he was surprised but then its the colour of his eyes, and did he have that facial hair there? and he couldve sworn Byakuyas smile was bigger than that.

He isn't forgetting but he thinks he is so much so that he can't remember the version of Byakuya that was with him because its been so long. (He thinks he sees part of him in the villagers, sometimes Chrome will smile and its almost the same smile Byakuya had, or Kaseki will laugh and he stops for a second because its so close to being his dad but its not it never will be he long dead dead before he ever got to see senku again dead before senku could say goodbye dead and his last act of love is the village he left behind people who can help him but it not his dad and it will never be)
