he's still the most simple design out of the three of them, it was going to be simpler until i looked at him next to the others and he looked way too plain

so i gave him socks and a little diamond on his muzzle (forehead?) kinda like how some real life horses have and it was too cute not to keep lol

i could've given him a blonde mane, but i decided to stick with just his clothing colours instead and keep him really simple

also i think making him blonde while keeping his headband solid black makes him more like a martyn design

personality-wise he's really pegasus to me, but giving him wings feels strange unless he's god (or not specifically based off parkciv)

he simply sparks joy in me

him being a changeling here was definitely influenced by moe's design of him that i saw a while back

he's blue because my emf is blue with gold accents!

anyway emf's somewhere between the original design for changelings and the new colourful ones because there are elements from both designs that i like

another crown felt like too much, so there's only the suggestion of one

maybe i'll make another mlp design for him that keeps his fluff, but we'll see, we'll see!

mlp gryphons don't have ears as far as i've seen, but seawatt looked bald without them and i do whatever i want forever when it comes to my designs anyway

again like evbo, his colour palette comes exclusively from the clothes he wears, just a little more purple because emf is already blue and he's the purple guy (purple guy? the man behind the slaughter?) out of the three of them

he's a gryphon instead of a unicorn or a hippocampus because i've always seen seawatt as catlike and it lets me carry over the tufted tail from his parkciv design

thought about avery with stars instead of flowers on his shirt and here we are

the vibes for this are specifically flash fire fever and space groove

not sure if the eyes are all part of one entity or different little guys in this case

the patch does read "D3R" lol

i do actually have a completed piece with his entire outfit in it instead of just what's seen here, i just haven't posted it because. i'm embarrassed about not being good at armour but the power of whatever's going on in dawtde compelled me to draw this anyway

it deviates from his actual skin quite a bit since a lot of my interpretation comes from headcanoning stuff about him and his role as champion in parkciv

the one thing i will say here is that he specifically decided that he wanted it to look gaudy, y'know since he's basically a minor god in terms of hierarchy/power

if i had a nickel for every time i clicked on a really long story-driven minecraft video with a green protagonist and got super invested in it, i'd have two nickels

which isn't a lot, but it's cool that it's happened twice!

thoughts on sfawtde/dawtde

avery snapping out of his trance and hearing the music swell was and is my favourite moment in the entire story, chills down my spine

i don't really deal well with horror, so i was really brave about watching the whole thing

super appreciate there not being any jumpscares in the entire story

notes on the art

the frame being as decorated as it is was directly inspired by how moe does her's! she's so cool, follow her right now

it's partially cut off, but the text on the book is just what was shown in the story "you are nothing" and then the block of censored text

all of the characters are represented here! i say that like there's more than 3 of them, but y'know

lots of flowers since they were an integral part of the routine avery was trapped in, but also just because he seems to be really tied to flowers in general? his shirt's got flowers on it, he uses honey blocks a lot and i've also seen lots of art with avery and flowers. it's really cute

the colours being the way they are is fully intentional

dova translate a character into his style without giving them animal features challenge impossible, i put ears and a tail (currently hidden from view) on the slime, i can't be stopped

my headcanon is that when slimes cry, their entire body gets a little less... bonded together? it gets drippy, especially around the face and eyes

so normally his fringe wouldn't be covering his eye like that, it's just droopy and goopy because he's sad

i... don't have that much to say about him really, i just wanted to make him cute and also a little creature
