wrap party at long last | della
Douglas was admittedly really happy this film was wrapping. It had been fun, but it had also caused quite a stir in his personal life, and he was ready for that to be over. He missed the normalcy of being with Ella and things being good. Granted, he was going to have to travel to film the next movie, but he thought it’d be different. “We don’t have to stay long,” he said to Ella, glancing over at her as they approached the party. “We just have to make an appearance, and then we can go, as far as I’m concerned.”
Ella didn't want to be as happy as she was that Douglas was wrapping his film. He'd really enjoyed the project and working with Jack again. She felt bad that she wanted to just put this behind them. She wanted to put Gemma behind them. It had become so much of an issue and she was so looking forward to moving on. It'd be nice to not feel so wildly insecure when he went to set. "We don't have to just dip quick, you know. This is your wrap party. You deserve to enjoy it for however long you want to," she reassured him.
Douglas knew that, but he really didn’t feel like spending the entire night here. He was so ready to be over with this, and that pained him, but it was true. “I know, but there are so many other things we could do with our night, and before long we’ll be doing different things, and I’d rather do one of the other things,” he said with a small smile. He pulled into a parking spot, stepping out and going around to get her door. He put his hand out for her to take, smiling at her.
Ella felt guilty but she was going to power through it. Well, she was going to try. "I know, but, I just want to make sure you're happy and enjoying yourself tonight. It's your wrap party. You should be proud of yourself. I'm proud of you," she told him. She gave his hand a gentle squeeze before he parked the car. She hoped she hadn't ruined this for him. She would really hate that. She thanked him for getting her door and then leaned up to kiss his cheek. "I love you."
Douglas was sure of what he wanted. He could have fun at the party and leave early and it wouldn’t change how much fun he had. “Don’t worry, we’ll have fun at the party. And I am proud. I just don’t want to spend the entire night here. You know how these parties can drag on,” he said with a smile. He leaned down, smiling at the kiss. “I love you, too. Thank you for coming,” he said, squeezing her hand a bit as he lead her up to the door of the restaurant.
Ella nodded a little, deciding to let it go. She just wanted him to enjoy his night. "Okay, if you're sure," she said with a smile. "I get it. Wrap parties can end up going on forever and it's like, have I been here long enough? How much longer do I have to watch my coworkers drink and make fools of themselves?" she asked playfully. She nodded, smiling at him. "Of course I came, there's nowhere I'd rather be than by your side," she told him.
Douglas laughed a bit. He didn’t usually have to watch drinks, but he did watch his friends make fools of themselves. “Sometimes it gets really bad,” he said with a nod. He only had fun in the beginning usually, and then he got kinda bored of just being there for the sake of being there. “You know, I really do feel the same way. With you by my side, I feel like I could take on the world,” he promised. He opened the door, letting her in first. “What would you like to drink?” he asked.
Ella had to agree. It got so bad sometimes. "Yeah, it can be a real mess. I usually get tired of everything pretty quickly, even if it's a movie with people I really, really like. After a while I'm just like, well, this has been fun but we've done this a million times during filming and I want to finally get some sleep," she joked. She squeezed his hand as they entered the restaurant. "I feel that way too. Absolutely," she insisted. "Oh, you know, maybe just a glass of wine."
Douglas nodded in agreement. He had much more fun partying with his friends he rarely saw, like Harry. “Everyone wants to party all the time. I just want to go home and relax with my dogs,” he admitted. He smiled, giving her hand another little squeeze. “I’ll go get you that, and I’ll be right back,” he said, leaning down and kissing her cheek before going off to get her drink. After a moment, Gemma walked over to her. “Nice to see you again,” she said, emphasizing the word ‘you’.
Ella felt the same way. She very much preferred heading home and curling up with Bing. She always had. Unless Miranda or one of her closest friends was there. "It's so much more relaxing to just go home. I get the appeal of staying out a little but not the whole night," she shrugged. She smiled at him when he kissed her cheek and watched him walk off. She thought about going to look for Jack. Then Gemma showed up. "Well, I was invited," she said awkwardly. "It's nice to see you."
Douglas nodded in agreement. There had been the occasional time in the past that he’d enjoyed being out a bit more, but he was just a homebody. He liked working, and he liked being in the outdoors, and he liked home. He didn’t think there was anything wrong with that. “I do, too. It’s just not my thing, really,” he agreed. Gemma nodded a bit, giving her a smile. “I sort of figured,” she said with a wink. “You have him on quite a leash, hm?” she said, taking a sip of her drink.
Ella didn’t really know what to say. She could feel her body tense and part of her just wanted to walk away. But she held her ground. “Excuse me?” she asked. “If you’re referring to Douglas, my boyfriend, then you’re wrong. I don’t have him on a leash at all. And our relationship is none of your business. In fact, it’s even stronger than it was before you entered the picture.”
Douglas Gemma could sense her tense and laughed a bit, waving a hand. “Oh, it’s a good thing, love. He’s all about you. Completely oblivious. He doesn’t even flirt back. I’m just saying, it’s impressive,” she said with a small grin. Douglas walked back over, handing Ella her drink. “Hey! Congrats on wrapping,” he said with a smile, giving Gemma a small, half hug. He returned to Ella’s side, wrapping his arm around her waist. “Have you been here long?” he asked. “No, I haven’t. It was nice seeing you both. I’m actually going to go have a chat with someone over there,” she said with a smile before she turned away.
Ella didn't like this at all. "So you were flirting with him, despite knowing he was with me. That's pretty damn shady, Gemma. I thought you were better than that," she said. "He's loyal to me because he loves me. I don't have him on a leash. He's a good man." She was about to continue when Douglas suddenly joined them. She leaned into his embrace and sent a smug smile at Gemma. She turned to kiss Douglas gently as she left, feeling more secure than ever in this relationship.
Douglas Gemma shrugged a bit and gave her a playful smile. “Flirting is just fun. Everyone flirts with everyone,” she said casually. Douglas kissed her back when she kissed him, leaning in a bit. “I wasn’t gone that long,” he said playfully. “I did get caught up chatting with the bartender though. Sorry about that,” he added with a small smile. “What was all that about?” he asked, walking into the party a bit more, but still mostly avoiding other people.
Ella still wasn't sure she bought into that but she could realize that she'd made a mistake being so worried about Douglas and Gemma. She felt kind of foolish. "I know. I just needed to kiss my boyfriend. My perfect, wonderful, loyal boyfriend," she said simply. She shook it off and smiled up at him. "Nothing, just... Gemma saying I had you on a tight leash and you were oblivious to all of her flirting," she admitted. There was no point lying. "I'm sorry I ever was insecure about it."
Douglas smiled, a bit of a smirk really, and leaned down and kissed her again. “Well, I won’t argue with that,” he said, smiling still. He raised his eyebrows a bit. “Wow, that’s. Bold,” he settled on. “A bit insulting, too, really, on multiple ends,” he added with a small chuckle. “You don’t have to apologize for your feelings. But I am happy to know your worries have been renounced,” he added with a grin. “Do you want to dance after we finish our drinks?”
Ella loved him so much. How could she have ever doubted him? He was exactly right for her. "Yeah, super bold. She barely even said hello. She just came out with it. I don't have you on a leash. You're not a dog. And I'm not controlling, right?" she asked with a frown. She still felt guilty for doubting him. "Very renounced. I will try to never feel that way again." She knew she would but she'd handle it better. "I absolutely do. Thank you for my drink by the way."
Douglas raised his eyebrows a bit, and then frowned, a bit taken aback. “Oh, wow. That’s kind of crazy. Really, really rude. I guess you were right,” he said with a small laugh. He’d really thought she was harmless. Maybe he was a bit oblivious. “You’re not controlling at all,” he promised. He didn’t think she was, anyway. And their opinions were the only ones that mattered here. “You can’t help how you feel. Don’t worry about it,” he promised, smiling at her. “You’re very welcome,” he said with a smile, leaning down and pecking her lips again.
Ella nodded. "Right? So rude! I can't believe she said that. A leash," she scoffed. "I'm so offended as a dog lover and a Douglas lover," she huffed out. She leaned into him a bit more, feeling very secure and loved in this moment. "Okay, good. If I ever get controlling, tell me. I'd hate to do that to you," she admitted. She still felt guilty about it but she knew he was right. She couldn't help her feelings. "At least let me promise to handle it better." She smiled at the kiss, truly relaxed. "I love you."
Douglas laughed softly when she said that. “I’m offended, too. For you and for me. Like I could be put on a leash,” he said with a playful scoff. “I will. And you do the same if I get controlling. I don’t want us to be that way,” he promised. He nodded, giving her side a little squeeze. “We’ll both try to handle it better,” he said, kissing her nose softly. “I love you, too,” he said. He finished his drink off, smiling at her. “I’m ready to dance when you are,” he told her.
Ella thought for a moment. "I mean, it'd look good on you," she joked. "Kidding! Gosh, she's just rude. I told you I didn't like her," she reminded him playfully. "I promise. Though, you're not the type to be controlling. I think we'll be okay," she told him. They were perfect together. Nothing could get between them. "We'll be okay," she said again. And she believed it. She finished off her wine and took his hand. "Let's go dancing."
Douglas laughed at that, a bit incredulous. “Rude,” he said playfully. “I would look good though, I’m sure. I look pretty good in leather,” he said with a wink. “You were right,” he said again. He shrugged a shoulder casually. He didn’t think he was the type either, but he still didn’t ever want to accidentally fall into some kind of bad habit. “I think we will, too,” he agreed. He smiled when she was ready to dance, taking her hand and leading her over to the dance floor. He pulled her close, dancing in time to the music. “You look beautiful tonight, by the way.”
Ella laughed when he did. "I was just teasing! I'd never put you on a leash," she promised. "Okay, stop. Don't make me want you while we're at a party. I'm thinking all manner of naughty things now," she teased. She was glad they both had so much faith in themselves. It was inspiring. She knew they'd make it. They had to. "Of course we will," she smiled. She followed him to the dance floor and stepped closer to him. Her arms went around his neck and she smiled up at him. "Thank you. You look rather beautiful yourself."
Douglas smirked a bit and shrugged. “Maybe I want you to want me at this party,” he said playfully, winking at her. He danced with her, smiling down at her as she smiled up at him. He was so in love with her. It was crazy how a person could just walk into his life and completely change it for the better. He was so happy, beyond thrilled really, that they’d met. “Oh, thank you. I’m glad you think so,” he said honestly. “I should probably go talk to Lone after this dance.”
Ella pushed his shoulder gently. "You tease. You just want me all worked up for later. I know you," she smirked at him. She didn't mind that at all, really. In fact, she'd be down to mess around a bit here or on the way home. She'd never suggest it though. She was too classy like. "We'll have some fun tonight," she told him. She smiled up at him and kissed him on the lips gently. "Of course I do." She nodded slightly. "Yeah, you should. I'm sure she wants to see you."
Douglas raised his hands up, pretending he had no idea what she was talking about. “Do I? I don’t think so,” he teased. He grinned a bit. “Sounds good to me,” he said playfully. He kissed her back, letting his lips linger for a moment. He was so happy with her. “Your opinion matters the most to me, you know,” he said, smiling softly at her. He sighed a bit, not really in any hurry to leave her side. He did, however, want to get going home, and he could only do that after he made the rounds.
Ella rolled her eyes playfully at him. "Yeah, sure. You're a liar," she laughed. He was so cute. Everything he did and said made her feel so soft for him. "You're so sweet. Your opinion matters most to me too," she promised. She stayed close to him while the song continued, a little unsure what she was going to do once he went off to make the rounds. "Maybe Shannan is here and I can chat with her while you do?" she suggested. "Or I could go with you but I don't want to seem like I have to attach myself to you."
Douglas let out a hearty laugh at that and shrugged. “No comment,” he teased, winking at her playfully. He smiled, leaning in to peck her cheek. He nodded a bit, thinking that sounded like a good idea. He hummed a bit at that, but shrugged. “I mean, I don’t think it’s bad that we want to be together. But you could go with me until I find Shannan, and then you could chat with her while I continue making the rounds?” he suggested. He thought that was a pretty solid way to go.
Ella figured that was likely the best outcome. That way she could stick with him for a little longer but also allow time for him to get to everyone and chat. They'd probably end up getting out of here quicker that way and besides, she didn't really know all of these people that well. "Okay, perfect. We'll find her together and I'll keep her company for a while. She's such a sweetheart," she said with a smile. The song came to an end and she sighed a bit. "Alright, time to be social."
Douglas nodded in agreement. He really liked Shannan. She was a really nice person. “Agreed,” he said with a smile. And he was certain Jack was going to make the rounds, too, so it would be perfect for them to keep each other company. He sighed with her, but gave her a smile. “Gotta hate that,” he said playfully. He took her hand, walking with her and stopping to talk to different people. He didn’t mind socializing, but he wasn’t really in the mood. However, it wasn’t going so bad. He couldn’t really complain, honestly.
Ella laughed a little bit. "If my choices are dancing with you or being social? You're always going to win," she teased. She knew this was important however so she wasn't going to complain. Besides, she'd grown fond of Shannan and wouldn't mind gossiping with her for a bit until Douglas found her again. She held his hand as they talked to people, being polite and engaging when necessary. She didn't want to talk about herself much since this was Douglas's party.
Douglas echoed her laugh. “Yeah, given those choices, I have to admit that I would always pick you myself,” he said playfully. He talked with tons of people, introducing those to Ella who hadn’t yet met her. As they approached Jack and Shannan, he smiled a bit. “Nice to see you both again! Can you believe how quickly that went?” he said with a laugh. Jack smiled, leaning in to hug them both. “I can’t! It was just yesterday that we were all meeting at her party.”
Ella immediately let go of his hand to hug Shannan. "Oh, you look so beautiful! It's so good to see you again," she greeted. "Oh, it's good to see you too, girl. I was hoping you'd be here tonight," Shannan grinned. "Of course!" she grinned. She hugged Jack next and smiled at him as well. "I can't wait to see the film. I bet you two will really steal the show. How could you not?" she smiled. "Absolute agreement from me," Shannan laughed.
Douglas liked chatting with friends. That was probably a large part of why he liked working with familiar faces. He was always going to have someone he was comfortable with to talk to. He laughed a bit at that. “Well, I am basically the star of the show,” he said playfully, waving a hand as if to pretend to wave it off humbly. He chatted with them for a bit longer, before excusing himself to go talk to Lone.
Ella rolled her eyes playfully at her boyfriend but she was beaming. "My little superstar," she teased. She chatted with Lone as Douglas and Jack walked off. She told her all about the Gemma situation and what she'd said to her. "I knew there was something up with that woman," Shannan sighed. "It's all over with now, at least," Ella shrugged. "So when is the little one due again?" she asked, falling back into conversation with her.
Douglas flashed her a grin, winking playfully. She was so sweet. He was so in love, it was pretty wild. He got into a pretty good rhythm walking with people throughout the party, laughing and drinking as he did. As everyone gathered to listen to Lone’s speech, he snuck away to find Ella. He grabbed her arm, pulling her off to the side. “Wanna ditch before anyone notices?” he whispered, his lips by her ear.
Ella had a nice time chatting with Shannan. She was one of the most down to earth women and it was so refreshing. It was nice to just sit back and gossip with her a bit while they waited for their men. "The two of you should come by for dinner sometime," she suggested. Shannan agreed. Only a few minutes later the speech started and Douglas had appeared next to her. "Are you sure? I'm ready whenever you are."
Douglas nodded, a bit of a mischievous grin on his face. He wanted to sneak out while they had the chance. If they waited until her speech was finished, people would start talking to them and they wouldn’t be able to go. “I’m sure. C’mon, let’s go fast,” he said, taking her hand and pulling her to the door. He grabbed their coats on his way out, handing Ella hers as they walked. He laughed a bit, running a hand through his hair. “I never ditch, but I’m glad we’re skipping out now.”
Ella felt herself grinning to match his. He was so cute being this eager to sneak away with her. "Okay, okay," she laughed as he took her hand. "I'm right behind you," she promised. She took her coat from him and slipped it on as they walked. "You never ditch?" she teased. "I seem to remember you ditching your own birthday party at your own house to sit upstairs with me," she said playfully. "I had fun tonight, by the way. I'm glad we came."
Douglas frowned playfully at that, pretending to think back to that. “I’m afraid I don’t recall the incident you’re referring to,” he teased. “But, like, hypothetically, totally not ditching,” he said with a wink. He held her hand as they walked back to the car. “I had fun, too. I’m glad we came. I’m even more glad that we’re leaving,” he said with a grin. “Do you wanna get anything on the way home, or just go home?” he asked curiously,
Ella rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh, well, that breaks my heart. That's one of my favorite memories with you. I wanted you to kiss me so badly," she admitted with a laugh. "And it was totally ditching but it was probably the cutest thing." She gave his hand a squeeze. "I'm very glad we're leaving," she agreed. "Shannan is wonderful but I missed you." She moved a little closer so she could lean against him as they walked. "I could go for ice cream? But we have some at home."
Douglas smiled and shrugged. “I suppose in that case I can admit that it happened the way you remember,” he teased. “Oh yeah? Shame I missed that cue,” he said playfully, though he didn’t really regret the way anything had gone. “I missed you, too,” he said honestly. He really hadn’t wanted to spend the entire night with them when he could be with her. After all, he’d spent a lot of time with them lately. “Let’s just go for the ice cream at home, then,” he said with a shrug. “We can get ice cream from a parlor another day.”
Ella smiled warmly at him. "I was so smitten with you. I still am but wow, that night was such a night," she smiled. "Nah, I liked our first kiss the way it was. It was perfect. There was a perfect buildup. And look at us now," she said fondly. She leaned into him a bit more, finding it sweet that they missed each other even in the same room. "That sounds good to me. We can put on our pajamas and eat it in bed or something."
Douglas grinned, glancing at her fondly. She was perfect. She was the only one for him, he was sure of it. He was so in love with her. “I was, too. I was already smitten, but actually talking to you, wow. You’re even better in person,” he said with a grin. He smiled and nodded. “Yeah, I liked it, too. We’re a full fucking couple and all, now,” he smiled. He was so happy she was in his life. That felt like it was so long ago, now. “Ooh, that sounds perfect. I’m always down to lay in bed with you in my pajamas,” he said with a playful grin.
Ella thought that was just so sweet. He really was the best. There was no doubt about it. "You are so, so cute," she told him. "But I'm glad I'm better in person. Imagine if you'd thought I was a let down!" she laughed. "Think of what we would have missed out on." She didn't even want to picture it. "We are. The cutest couple, too." How could they not be? "You know, I'm also always down for that. I just really love you a lot. I don't think I tell you nearly enough," she said.
Douglas let out a little laugh and smiled. “Thanks,” he said, still smiling at her. “How could you not be, really? I always knew you would be,” he insisted. “That would’ve been very unfortunate,” he said with a laugh. He nodded in agreement, getting her door for her as they reached the car. “By far, the cutest couple ever,” he agreed. He smiled at her, leaning down and pecking her lips. “I really love you a lot, too. I think you say it very often, but I’m always happy to hear it more,” he smiled.
Ella beamed at him. "Yeah but I could have been less... I don't know! Whatever it is you expected," she laughed. "Or maybe the charm you saw was only for interviews and I was actually boring. You never know," she teased. "It would have been awful," she reiterated. She thanked him for getting her door with a smile. "I'll just have to tell you more. At least a few times a day," she grinned. She kissed him again before getting in the car and buckling in.
Douglas laughed a bit. She was so cute and funny and she didn’t even know what is was about her that anyone could dislike. “Well, never fear. Your charm is very real, and I love it,” he smiled. He laughed a bit, a smile still on his face. “I love you very much,” he promised, kissing her back. He was so happy with her. He went around to his door, getting in and buckled before taking off to their home. “You know, I’ve never been happier than I am with you.”
Ella let out a laugh. Sometimes she wondered if maybe he thought too highly of her but how could she complain about that? It'd be silly to. "Well, I'm very, very happy to hear that," she told him. She couldn't think of anything she could ever love more than him. He was just it. She smiled at him as he drove. "I was thinking the same thing. Well, along those lines, at least. You make me happier than I ever thought I could be."
Douglas glanced over at her and smiled. That made him happy. He felt so at ease, at peace. He felt good, like things were just good in the world for him. Everything was as it should be. “I’m glad I’m able to make you happy. I hope one day I make you even happier than you thought possible now,” he said with a smile. He wanted to always make her exponentially more happy than she already was. He wanted to bring her nothing but goodness. “I’m really sorry I ever made you feel anything but happy.”
Ella reached over to take his hand while he drove. She just had to hold onto him. She was so in love. "I'm sure that you will someday. I have a feeling that I'll constantly be surprised at how happy you make me," she admitted. That was just what he did. He brought her complete happiness. She gave his fingers a squeeze. "It's okay. I'm sorry too. Everything can't always be perfect. I feel like we've grown stronger though after that," she added.
Douglas glanced up at her when she took his hand, smiling. He held her hand, resting their hands on her leg. He smiled brightly. He hoped that was the case. He felt like it would take a lot to surprise her, and he hoped he fulfilled that. “I hope you’re right,” he said honestly. He squeezed her hand back, so happy that things felt so much better between them. He nodded a bit. He knew that, even if he didn’t like it much. “Yeah, I know. But I can still be not pleased about it,” he said playfully. “I think we have, too. Every road bump we make it over will bring us closer.”
Ella liked the way he let their hands rest on her. She thought it'd be hard to find something she didn't like. He was just so perfect. "I know I am. You've done it before, I have the utmost faith you can do it again. You're so thoughtful and romantic and sometimes cheesy," she teased. "And it's positively delightful." He surprised her every day. She squeezed his hand gently. "I know," she smiled. "But it happened and that's okay. I love you."
Douglas laughed when she called him cheesy. “Well, I do my best. I like making you happy. It brings me so much joy bringing a smile to your face,” he said honestly. He was glad they were okay. He hoped that, moving forward, they’d both handle things like that better. “I love you, too,” he promised. Getting through rough patches was a testament to the kind of couple they were, right? He thought so. He pulled into the garage and reluctantly let go of her hand. “We’re home!” he said in a sing-songy voice.
Ella smiled brightly at him. "You do an excellent job at it. You're always making me smile and laugh. It's very easy for you to do it!" She was just glad to leave this project behind him. At least until the press tour started for it but hopefully Gemma moved on by then. That would help her insecurities a lot. "Yay for home!" she matched his voice. She undid her seat belt and leaned over to kiss his cheek. "Let's get the ice cream!" she said happily as she got out of the vehicle.
Douglas was glad she felt that way. He felt like things were easy with them, in a good way. “I’m glad,” he said with a bright smile. He smiled when she kissed his cheek. He loved when she did that. “To the ice cream!” he said, getting out and going to get the door open. “I’ll get the ice cream and you can get our pjs,” he suggested as they stepped in. “Hi babies!” he said, crouching down to give the dogs pets as they came to greet them. “I’ll also let them out and get some food out for them,” he added with a laugh.
Ella laughed as she got out of the car. He really did make her laugh so easily. "Ice cream!" she repeated as she followed. "Oh, I get to pick your pjs?" she asked playfully. She leaned down to love on the dogs too. "Aw, did you miss us?" she asked them. She thought that was a good idea so she nodded a bit. "Okay, that works. I mean, that's a lot less for me to do than you," she realized with a laugh. "I'll go get the pajamas, though." She kissed his cheek again before heading upstairs.
Douglas laughed and gave her a slightly uneasy expression, though he meant it playfully, really. “Yes? Is it dangerous to give you that much power?” he teased. He pet all of their pups, rubbing their ears. “You did miss us, yes you did, yes you did,” he said, his voice turning all soft and mushy. He laughed a bit as he stood up. “I mean, sure, maybe. But it just makes sense. I’m right here, it’s all in the same area,” he said with a little shrug. He leaned in, smiling at the kiss. As she went upstairs, he opened the back door to let the dogs out. He put food in their bowls, then got the ice cream out and into bowls for them, and let the dogs back in.
Ella smirked at him mischievously. "It's dangerous to give me any power. You should know this by now. I'm a wild card, baby. Never know what you're gonna get," she joked. She really didn't have much of a plan but she'd figure it out. "Alright, alright. I'll be right back. Be good for Douglas, babies," she told the dogs as she went upstairs. She searched through her things for something to wear and let out a bit of a laugh. She changed into shorts and a cami and grabbed a silky nightie from the drawer for Douglas. She laughed at herself for a minute before getting him real pajamas to bring downstairs. "I think this will look spectacular on you," she said, presenting him with her nightie and her most innocent smile.
Douglas grinned at the look on her face. He let out a laugh at that. “You really don’t give off a dangerous vibe, baby,” he teased. He turned around when she came back down the stairs, laughing loudly at the nightie she presented him. “I think it will, too,” he said with another chuckle. He pulled his shirt off, taking the nightie and pulling it on. He slid his pants off, turning to show off for her. “A bit snug, I’d say, but overall, I feel like I’m pulling it off,” he said with a grin, turning to her and putting both hands on his hips.
Ella watched him put the nightie on with a laugh. He was such good fun. He really knew how to make her laugh. It took her a bit to catch her breath from the giggles but she stepped closer to really appreciate him. "You know what's weird? I feel like you're pulling it off too. I think a little too well," she realized with another laugh. "Wow, why do I like this so much?" She tugged at the fabric a little, feeling the silk. "Wow, yeah, I like it. You look pretty." She stepped back, shaking her head a bit. "Wow, joke's on me. I'm having a crisis," she laughed.
Douglas smirked a bit at the way she was watching him, letting out a laugh as she did. “Oh yeah? You like me in your nightie?” he asked, grinning at her. He leaned into her a bit, putting an arm around her waist. “You like it, like I should keep wearing it? Or you like it, like you want to get me out of it?” he asked, wiggling an eyebrow at her. He could put the ice cream away if she wanted to fool around instead. He was on board, but he was also down to just lounge around in her pretty, silky nightie. It was surprisingly comfortable, honestly. And he did like how stressed she was about it.
Ella flushed a little when he picked up on her little conundrum. "I didn't think you'd look so good in it! I thought it'd be a funny joke," she whined a little. She laughed a little when he teased her, dropping her head against his shoulder and letting out a little groan. "I don't know. What have I done?" she wondered. She pulled at the fabric a little, raising it up his hips slightly. "I think I want you to wear it while I suck you off, to be quite honest. This is so embarrassing," she mumbled. She bit his shoulder gently and then kissed his neck. "Will you let me?"
Douglas smirked some more, laughing a bit at the way she was all worked up about this. “Babe, don’t you think I look good in everything? How did you not know?” he teased her. He put a hand on her back, smiling down at her. He raised an eyebrow as she raised the nightie up a bit. “Oh yeah? It’s not embarrassing,” he said, reassuringly. He whimpered a little at the way she bit his shoulder. “Yes. Of course,” he said. “Did you want to go to the couch, or?” he asked, looking down at her.
Ella whined again when he laughed. "Stop teasing me! I didn't think it through. I didn't think I'd like it this much," she pouted. She certainly hadn't planned on wanting him this badly so suddenly. It was a strange type of desperation she was feeling. She could feel the heat pooling through her, especially at this little sound he made. She tugged at the fabric again, sliding a hand back to touch his butt. "I can't wait to go all the way upstairs," she admitted. She pulled away from him a bit so she could give him a push towards the couch. "You really do look so good to me."
Douglas liked how into this she was. She was so into him in her nightie, and it came so suddenly. He loved it. He figured he could just let the ice cream melt. “You don’t have to,” he agreed, a little breathless. He really liked all of her touches. He moved onto the couch easily, adjusting a bit. He could feel himself growing hard already. “You look good to me, too. You’re so flustered, and not like you usually are,” he said, licking his lips a little.
Ella just really needed to get her mouth on him. She couldn't focus on anything else. It was like her mind had completely clouded over. She moved with him, dropping to her knees before he'd even fully sat down. She kissed the inside of his thigh before biting it. "Yeah? You should feel how wet I am," she admitted, still a little embarrassed about this whole thing. She kissed his leg again before sitting back to push the fabric up his legs. She let out a little moan and bit her lip, meeting his eyes as she helped him out of his underwear. The second it was out of the way, her mouth was around him and she was taking him entirely in her mouth.
Douglas cocked an eyebrow at that. She was so eager. He felt like he’d never seen this side of her. It was incredibly hot. She was so worked up. “I wish I could,” he said, licking his lip as she kissed his leg. He lifted his hips a bit, helping her as she took off his boxers. Everything was happening so fast. Before he knew it, her mouth was on him. He moaned, wiggling a bit in an attempt to stay still. “Fuck, Ella,” he moaned, letting out a heavy breath.
Ella couldn't quite get enough of him. She wanted so much all at once and it was so conflicting to even decide what to do with her hands. She moved up and down him a few times before pulling off with a pop. She replaced her lips with her hand and stroked him instead as she kissed the inside of his thigh. "Keep talking," she told him before she took him into her mouth again. She started up a more solid pace, taking him in deep each time. She kept her eyes on him, needing to watch.
Douglas moaned a little, adjusting his hips. He was amazed at how quickly he’d gotten so hard, but she made it easy. He put his hands on the couch, his eyes closed, head against the back of the couch. He looked down at her just as she pulled off of him, moaning at the loss of contact. She was so beautiful on her knees like this. “What should I say?” he asked breathlessly. He moaned, arching his back a little. “You’re so gorge-,” he said, his moan cutting him off. He moved his hand to her cheek, before sliding it back into her hair. “Mouth full of me,” he moaned, thrusting his hips forward a little.
Ella didn't know what she wanted him to say. She didn't know what was happening to her! She couldn't think. She moaned when he did, digging her nails into his thigh. As soon as he started to talk she realized it didn't matter what he said, she was going to be mad into it. She moved a bit faster, adjusting her hand so she could gently touch his balls. She took him completely in her throat and pulled back again. "Call me baby," she insisted. She took his balls into her mouth for a moment, letting her thumb flick over his hole as her other hand stroked his dick.
Douglas was having a really hard time keeping it together. Her nails on his leg and mouth on his dick was driving him crazy. He gasped a little when she went from deepthroating him to not having her mouth on him at all. “M’close, baby,” he said, a warmth building up in his stomach. He closed his eyes and moaned at the use of her mouth again, his eyes opening again when she touched him differently. “Oh, fuck, baby,” he moaned. “That’s so good,” he moaned. He was too close. “I want your mouth on my dick, baby,” he said.
Ella liked that a lot. He wasn't even doing anything to her but it felt like his hands were on her skin when he spoke. Her eyes were on him as she tried something new and she felt such a rush that he liked it. "You gonna come in my mouth?" she asked when her mouth was free again. She smirked at him a little bit, thinking he'd never looked better to her. She wrapped her lips around him again and went back to the same pace. She pressed her finger against him a little more and moved her mouth a bit faster, a bit deeper, her eyes on his.
Douglas nodded, keeping his eyes on her. “I’d love to come in that pretty little mouth of yours, babygirl,” he said. He moaned at the finger, tightening his grip on her hair a little. “Oh, fuck yeah, baby,” he moaned. His hips went up a bit more, and he forced her head down as he came. “Fuck, babygirl,” he moaned. He felt like he’d never had such an out of control orgasm like this before. Once he finished, he pulled her off of him, moving his thumb to touch her lip. “What a pretty little mouth.”
Ella had not anticipated him to flip a switch like that. She felt like she'd been the one calling most of the shots here but he'd caught on quickly. She moaned around him, trying to keep up. She swallowed around him as best as she could, trying not to make a mess. Her throat felt a bit raw and sore in a new and good way and she wasn't used to it. She took a deep breath when he pulled her off, swallowing again for good measure. She licked her lips, letting her tongue touch his thumb. "You should see the rest of me."
Douglas caressed her cheek before leaning down and kissing her lips. He pulled back, standing up and picking her up, wrapping her legs around his waist. “I can’t wait to see the rest of you,” he said. He carried her upstairs, still wearing the nightie, and laid her down on the bed with her bottom near the edge. He kneeled on the ground and touched her through her shorts. “Fuck, I can tell how wet you are even with these on,” he said. He pulled them down her legs, tossing them onto the floor. He leaned in, putting his mouth on her clit with her panties still on. She’d practically soaked them.
Ella kissed him back, smiling a little. She moved with him, making herself easier to pick up. She would have probably just stayed on the floor if he hadn't carried her, honestly. Her head was too fuzzy still. She made a little sound when he set her down and then knelt. "Still looks so good on you," she admitted in a moan. Her head tipped back a bit at the touch and she whined. She pulled her top over her head and then leaned back on her elbow a bit, still somehow feeling unsteady. "Ah. That's so good," she gasped out. "Fuck."
Douglas smirked when she complimented him on the nightie. It had honestly been so comfortable through all of this. He moved his tongue against her clit, teasing her a bit. He liked the noises she was making. He moved back, pulling her panties off. He moved his hand, sliding it over her entrance. “So fucking wet,” he said. He brushed past her clit, then back down and pushed two fingers into her easily. “You’re so horny for me, babygirl, aren’t you?” he said, thrusting them in and out slowly. “Tell me how much you want me. Tell me how much sucking me off in your pink nightie made you so wet and horny.”
Ella had to wonder how he'd managed to keep up the talking so well when her mouth was on him. She felt like she didn't know a single word in the world except his name. "Ah, yeah. Okay, fuck. I've never been so wet in my life. No one's ever, no one," she moaned a little, unable to finish the thought. "Please, I want you so bad. You're so pretty," her voice broke on the word. "That's why. I had to make you come like that. Baby, please," she whined. She moved her hand into his hair and tugged it sharply. "Shut up. Put your mouth on me. I was such a good girl, be good to me."
Douglas smirked a bit as she lost her thought. He liked that he made it hard for her to articulate. He moved his fingers a bit faster with every word she said. He laughed softly when she told him to shut up. He leaned down, taking her clit in his mouth and sucking on it lightly as he thrust his fingers into her faster and deeper. He moved his tongue down, pushing it into her with his fingers, before moving it back to her clit.
Ella kept her hand in his hair in case he decided to pull away again. It felt a little aggressive but she didn't care. Not right now. She moaned loudly when he sucked on her, catching her breath with a gasp. "That's so good," she told him. She moved one of her legs over his shoulder. It didn't take very long for her to come around his fingers and she cried out a little bit. Everything always felt so intense with him. It was very nearly too much.
Douglas liked the way her hand was on him, keeping him from moving, despite the fact that he wasn’t going anywhere. He moved his fingers a bit faster at her words, flicking his tongue against her clit. He kept his rhythm up as she came, pulling his fingers out when she finished. He moved down, licking over her. He was careful not to overwhelm her too much, but he didn’t want to break contact yet. After a moment, he moved his thumb to gently rub her clit, his tongue going to lick a bit lower.
Ella made a little sound as she came down from it and let her hand move from his hair. She took a few deep breaths and gently eased herself completely onto her back. She'd thought he was finished with her but clearly she'd been wrong. She mumbled out his name quietly, letting her eyes close. She tensed a little bit when his tongue moved but she let out a breath and relaxed within moments. "Yeah," she breathed.
Douglas could tell this was a bit new and different for her, but she seemed to be enjoying herself, so he went on. He moved his tongue over her hole in little circles, pressing it against her with a bit of pressure. His thumb rubbed her clit slow and steady before he moved it to push two fingers into her again. He thrust them into her slow and deep, curling them a bit as he did. He kept his tongue moving over her a little as he thrust his fingers into her, stimulating her in different ways. He let out a moan, pressing his tongue flat against her before pulling away. He moved to kiss her thighs, sucking little marks as he started to move his fingers faster.
Ella could hardly wrap her head around these different sensations. She wasn't used to this at all. Her entire body felt like it was lit up with need. She couldn't keep her moans in. Everything just felt too good. It was intense and new and different and she loved it all. It didn't take too much longer for her to come again. She whined out his name this time, her voice sounding desperate even to her. He was just too much. He was so good to her.
Douglas moaned against her skin as she said his name as she came. He moved his fingers a bit faster, his mouth sucking on her clit lightly. He pulled back after she finished, putting his hands on the bed as he kissed up her body, peppering light kisses on her stomach, breasts, chest, and neck. “Was I good to you?” he asked, kissing her jawline lightly. He put his hands on her sides, rubbing her skin gently.
Ella reached out for him as he pulled away. She kept her hands on his skin as he moved up her body, just needing to feel him. She wanted him close. "So good to me," she affirmed. No one had ever been this good, she was sure of it. "You're so good. I love you," she told him. She guided his mouth to hers and kissed him deeply. She slid one of her hands into his hair and combed her fingers through it gently.
Douglas smiled a bit against her skin as she spoke. He kissed her skin gently, holding her close to his body. “I love you, too,” he promised. He kissed her back, his arm wrapping around her waist and holding her against him. He kissed her deeply, but kept it pretty soft. He put his other hand under her head, caressing her as they kissed. He loved her so much, being intimate like this only reinforced how much they were right for each other.
Ella found it crazy how much she craved just being close to him. It was her absolute favorite feeling. There wasn't anything that even came close to holding him and being held by him. She was so hopelessly in love. She kissed him for a long while, sighing into his mouth a little. When she finally pulled away from it she smiled up at him. She touched his face gently and then gave him another peck. "That was... unexpected."
Douglas was so happy to just relax with her in his arms, kissing her and holding her, just enjoying being with her. He felt so lucky to be able to have her with him all the time. He was so in love. It was really amazing that humans could feel this strongly and deeply for one another. He pulled away from the kiss when she did, letting out a happy sigh and smiling at her. He smiled and closed his eyes as touched his face, kissing her back briefly. “Was that alright?” he asked with a sheepish smile.
Ella almost laughed at the question. She'd wanted to ask the same thing. "It really should be me asking you that," she told him. She felt herself getting a little bashful again and she hid her face against his shoulder. "I think I told you to shut up. That was so rude, I'm sorry," she laughed a little. She held him close, kissing his skin gently before she tugged at the fabric he still wore. "You can take this off now."
Douglas shrugged at that, giving her a little smile. “I feel like I was pretty receptive and encouraging through it all,” he said sincerely. He smiled, rubbing her back a bit as she leaned against him. “You were in the moment. It was pretty hot, actually,” he promised. He looked down at her hand as she tugged on the nightie, then up at her again, and gave her a playful smile. “It’s actually quite comfortable,” he teased. “But I’ll take it off,” he said, sitting up and pulling the fabric off, tossing it to the floor.
Ella felt herself smiling back. "You were very encouraging," she agreed. "It was just, you know, kind of aggressive of me. I wanted to make sure," she told him. She laughed a little bit, still sort of embarrassed. She didn't know what had gotten into her. "Yeah, I guess I was," she agreed. She felt herself blushing again and she had to groan. "Don't tease me!" she whined, covering her face. She was pleased that he'd discarded it by the time she looked again. "Better. Now maybe I'll be able to think like a normal person. Come cuddle," she practically demanded.
Douglas grinned and nodded. “It was okay,” he reassured. He had really enjoyed it, honestly. The whole thing was new and different and exciting. It made him want to experiment with her more, if she was up for it. “Sorry!” he said with a playful smile. “But I wasn’t lying,” he noted. He laughed, leaning in and kissing her lips softly. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to his body. “I love you.”
Ella was glad he'd enjoyed himself. She'd really kind of lost control but he'd been very encouraging and receptive. She knew he would have stopped her if she'd crossed a limit. "Okay, good," she smiled. She groaned again and pushed at him gently. "Stop talking about it. I can't have this conversation tonight," she whined. She curled into him, pressing a kiss to his skin. "I love you too," she promised. "So much."
Douglas smiled an amused smiled and let out a small laugh. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’ll let it go,” he promised. He held her tight, kissing the top of her head. “We should probably sleep soon,” he said after a moment, letting out a soft sigh. They could clean up the ice cream mess in the morning. He was pretty exhausted from all of that. He rubbed her arm slowly, kissing the top of her head again.
Ella pushed at him again when he laughed. "Stop!" she insisted. "You're the worst. Don't even think about laughing," she warned him playfully. She cuddled into his side more, settled by the rise and fall of his chest. He was so calming. She loved him. "Yeah, I'm pretty exhausted," she agreed. She shut her eyes, letting his hand on her arm soothe her. "I love you," she murmured as she fell asleep.
Douglas simply smiled at that, not wanting to tease her anymore, despite how fun it was. He held her close, relaxing easily as they laid together. “I am, too,” he said honestly. It had been a long day, and their fun had really warn him out. “I love you, too, baby,” he said, smiling as she fell asleep. He let himself drift off shortly after.
