Let's Fight

So I know my words probably mean jack shit now since I've been gone for close to three months now and well, I’m surprised I still have any followers left.  I want to thank the people who stuck around, whether you forgot to unfollow me or just didn’t care.  

So I may try and get back into this but I’ll be 100% honest with you all, I’m neck deep in shit.  I’m writing a book for my senior project, I’m like always tired no matter what and I still have low motivation, and well, I sort of lost the spark for RWBY.

I haven’t watched any of V3 and I’m not too sure if I’m going to at this point.  It’s for a plethora of reasons and if I find out certain things I’m thinking around going to happen actual don’t happen then maybe I’ll watch it again but...I don’t know anymore.  I’m just so jaded and salty about a lot of things that have happened with characters and the show that I’m not sure if I want to take the risk of subjecting myself to it again.

I mean with how sporadic replies are and how I am rarely ever on for more than like a few days in a row before disappearing again.

It was like he could see his words pierce through her thoughts, he again shifted his legs, for both dangled freely. 

“Yes.” He lips curled further, allowing a small area of teeth showing through his smile. “As you can tell, I should be a lovely gold in a few more hours.”

Oh, his sarcasm was dripping  from the words, perhaps that was something he’d picked up from Roman, rather than Cinder, during their time before Beacon.

Mercury wasn’t afraid to fight, not Yang, he wanted to, but he also wanted time to watch how she coped in a fight. From what he’d seen during the Grimm invasion, he was impressed, but not put off. Unlike Pyrrha, Yang didn’t seem to hide her semblance, she wore it. He liked the honesty, really.

On that note, Mercury from down from the height, his strong legs easily catching his weight for the seconds of impact.

“Can’t you tell, golden tan.”

Funny.  She had to admit he had some decent material but it wasn’t the best she’s heard, not by a long shot.  She crossed her arms over her chest and looked up to him, he seemed rather relaxed up there, as if this was an almost comfort zone for the boy.  Maybe it was, Yang could’t tell.

As he jumped down she took a little bit of a step back, watching his legs bend and catch his weight, another testament to how much he used them.  She’d have to be careful in a fight with him, maybe she should start to practice her skills against legs?  That would be the smart thing but of course there was no better teacher than experience itself.

“That’s actually a really good idea.  Maybe we should do somethin’ like that.”  Yang didn’t really know what they’d do if one of them got seriously hurt, she didn’t think any of them really knew how to treat a bad wound.  They were seriously lucky no one got hurt badly during that wreck, they probably wouldn’t have been able to keep them alive.

“Y’know, I’m actually surprised that no one on your team knows first aid.” Shanyin paused and scratched his head. “Considerin’ the trouble RWBY’s gotten into, you think one of your teammates would at least carry bandages on them.”

“That sounds great!  Be good to have those for memories later too.”  Just talking about traveling was making Yang want to get on the road and just go, see how far she could get.  It was appealing but she was needed here, to be with Ruby if she needed her.  She promised her dad after all.

A small wind blew past the two, the chilly air nipping at Yang’s flesh as she gave a smile, “Hey, how ‘bout we head on inside?  Starting to get a bit chilly out here.”

Tsubaki shivered as she started to feel the cold air against her. “I-I think that would be a g-good idea. I-I can bring us inside w-with my Semblance, i-if you want…”

double-barrel-bruiser:

“Yea I’m glad too, seems like Blake’s nine lives extend to her teammates as well.”  She joked, letting her own laughter out.  She grinned to him and raised a slight eyebrow, “Team medic huh?  And how does that go?  Gotta keep an eye on ‘em and keep ‘em in line?”

“Somethin’ like that.” Shanyin rubbed the back of his neck nervously. “I’m usually the one that patches them up when we’re in the field and makes sure they don’t get themselves too beat up. ‘Course, there’s some stuff I can’t do, in that case, it’s just a matter of keepin’ them alive until a med-evac comes.””

“Well, if I ever do get a chance, you’re welcome to join me.  Just hope you don’t mind motorcycles.”  Yang should probably invest in a car sometime, she can’t really drive her motorcycle all the time, even if she wanted to.

“If you do end up going with your siblings, mind sharing your experience with me once you get back?”

“Of course! I usually take a lot of pictures anyway. So I can show you where I’ve been too.” Tsubaki said. “Maybe I can send you and my teammates a few videos from on the road too!”

“Honestly?  No idea.  I mean I was unconscious and I was fine. I guess luck was on our side.”  That was something she actually hadn’t thought about, how did they all survive with barely a scratch from the collision?  It seemed too lucky for the kind of luck they usually had, maybe they got some of Blake’s extra lives?

Shanyin blinked, then started laughing. “Well, that’s some kinda luck you guys have. By all accounts, you guys would’ve died if your Auras weren’t unlocked. Maybe it’s ‘cause I’m my team’s medic, but I’m glad you didn’t get hurt.”

double-barrel-bruiser:

“Heh, sounds like Atlas from what I’ve heard.  Y’know sometimes, I wish I could just drop everything and go on a tour of the world.  See everything it has to offer and just enjoy life.  Maybe once this is all over…”  It was wishful thinking and Yang knew that, but it was better to have a goal and a reason to try and survive than none at all, right?

“I-I think that sounds like a w-wonderful idea!” Tsubaki said with a smile. “I-I’ve thought about going with m-my brother and sister w-while they toured a-a few times f-for the same reason.”

I am so, so sorry to those I had threads going with, things got a bit hectic and my motivation went down then I got sucked into Vindictus again and a bunch of other shit that are all basically excuses.

Truth be told I haven’t been feeling amazing about Rwby for a while now and so I’ve been rather iffy on actually wanting to do anything with this blog.  But, I’m hoping that with my spirits perking up that I’ll actually have the energy to come on here more often to do things.

I’ll get to replies ASAP, and hopefully I’ll be on here longer than just a few minutes.

“Yea I suppose.  I might have to try that sometime.”  Yang let her fingers once again dip into the chilly water of the fountain, moving them about and causing small ripples and waves.  “You ever wonder what it’s like in other kingdoms?”

“I-I don’t know… B-but my brother and sister w-were in Atlas f-for a show.” Tsubaki said. “T-they said it w-was surprisingly white. T-they had to wear sunglasses j-just to keep from getting blinded by the b-buildings.”

A shake of her head and a shrug of her shoulders was all she could give, “No idea.  i mean I’m guessing that’s the only reason why, but the only question is, what was it?”  

Shanyin stopped strecthing and looked at Yang. “It could’ve been someone she knew, tellin’ her to stop. Maybe it was learnin’ the train was gonna crash– actually, I’m actually kinda shocked you guys survived that.”
