Dorney views

When I was growing up in Glasgow many years ago, indoor or outdoor play areas didn't exist - no I'm sorry, that isn't completely correct, they did, they were called your house or 'the street'!!  Nowadays children have an enormous amount of choice when it comes to places to play!

I had the option of playing football in the street or playing with something inside, maybe lego or Meccano (where has Meccano gone?)  

Today we have 2 children at 'Jungle mania', and another at the event in the photo above, Sno Tubing in Bracknell.  So in between dropping children Bourne End and another in Bracknell, we need to fit in cutting the grass, and the hedges and tidying up, and iron, and everything else that busy parents have to do these days - but you know what, we wouldn't want it any other way!

On a more serious note, it is really fantastic to see how people in the UK have progressed since those days after the war, in the fifties!  Here is a photo of Glasgow as I remember it and thank the Lord that we have moved forward.

What is going on a Glasgow Rangers?  How can one of the worlds greatest clubs fall so low, so quickly? - why has so many football clubs in Scotland turned against them?

Almost 90% of chairmen of other Scottish clubs have voted that newco 'Rangers' are allowed back into Scottish football and that they can start in the lowest division! 

Yes, they are accused of 'stealing' almost £150m from the honest tax payers of this country, yes they have won trophies and championships over the last 6 or 7 years, whilst breaking almost every rule related to the financial running of a business - However, what have the fans done to deserve this punishment - what have they done wrong?

 The sooner the authorities get their hands on the guilty men, ex CEOs, Chairman, Finance me, the better.  Get them in court, try them and hopefully find them guilty - then throw them in jail.  Let the honest fans begin to enjoy their football again.

I experienced Apples great after sales care in the store in Reading.  A few months ago I procured a new iPad, however, last night it just displayed a 'pink' screen.  

This is a fantastic charitable organisation based in Thailand, looking after under privileged children in their area.
