Two Days of Little Joys and Slow Work
The past two days have been a mix of little adventures, good food, and slow office work. Sometimes, life moves at a fast pace, and other times, it slows down just enough for you to appreciate the small things.
It all started with a trip to Glorietta to look for a new pair of shoes. Shopping always feels like a mission, but this one had a happy ending—my partner ended up buying them for me, making the experience even sweeter. There’s something about getting a gift, even a practical one, that makes it extra special.
After shoe shopping, we decided to grab some good food at North Park. I’ve always enjoyed their dishes, but this time, I absolutely fell in love with their Lechon Macau and Wonton Noodles. The crispy pork, the flavorful broth, and the comforting warmth of the noodles were just perfect. It’s the kind of meal that makes you pause and savor every bite.
Aside from indulging in food, I’ve also been spending time reading Enemies with Benefits by Roxie Noir. It’s been such an engaging read so far, full of witty banter and just the right amount of tension. I love finding books that pull me into their world, and this one has definitely done that.
Another highlight? I discovered my new favorite matcha from Dot. There’s something about finding the perfect blend that just hits differently, and this one was smooth, rich, and just the right balance of earthy and sweet. Safe to say, I’ll be coming back for more.
On the other hand, office work has been painfully slow these days. There are those moments when productivity flows, and then there are times when tasks drag on, making the hours feel longer than they should. Hopefully, things pick up soon, but for now, I’m just taking it easy and enjoying the little joys in between.
