this started bc i remembered the plainfin midshipman from the vert bio i taught when i learned fjord was a midshipman. they glow in the dark

and then i also remembered triggerfish from that class that are fast and smart and aggressive and also they have teeth . so beau is a triggerfish. specifically a queen triggerfish for the coloration

molly is a peacock chitlid . for obvious reasons

nott is a ribbon eel bc why do they look like that. funny lil guys. so kinda obvious like molly

jester was prob the hardest but then it hit me. cuttlefish.

Because it's literally these 3 guys who have disguised themselves from this 1 guy to go hang out with him. 2 of them know who each other is and also immediately recognised who the third guy is but don't have any proof to back it up.
