Well I think they should be canon but the possibility of them being together is really low so I just hope maybe they liked each other or something but because they are both prideful and sadistic, they are keeping it a secret (but it's possibility is low too! huhuhu! *Crying* why are they not canon)
Fandom said that Sougo may have a crush on Kagura (you might feel that on the farewell Shinsengumi arc which Sougo saved Kagura) and I think it's true! Don't be mad 'kay! I'll explain!
1st motive is on the time skip arc,
Well, why did Sougo save Kagura, am I right? Sougo's not really a gentleman on girls, except his late sister, so if his not a gentleman in other girls, why save Kagura from Hijikata's attack, Kagura, I mean Kagura... Sougo Okita hated her guts remember?
2nd motive is on the feigned illness arc
Honestly I like this one, Kagura pretending to be sick and only Sougo knows it! He said "if their love for you is real, I'm sure they'll notice" !!! So does that mean Okita Sougo loves Kagura! Like he noticed that she's faking it, am I right?!?! You get what I mean?
3rd motive is on the shinigami arc
Okay, remember what Sougo said, he proposed right? But that proposal ended with "behind bars though" and that line was expected from him anyways but what I was wondering is why that joke? I mean yeah his sadistic but using that is like you know, thinking outside the box. Well I'm still thinking why, and let's leave it that way.
4th motive is on farewell shinsengumi arc
My fav arc, really!!! So I liked how Kagura cheered him up (even though she'd not admit it, we know you tried to do that) and when Sougo rescued her, I mean they're rivals right, so why save her? I know you need people but she's a yato, she'd survived that fall! Sougo even risked his own safety for her (throwing her up was kind of expected, he can never be that romantic) remember when Nobume tried to kill her, see Sougo's reaction, it's like he doesn't want Kagura to get hurt, I mean, I can't explain it, just so ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! And the last part really blows it uppp! I know they were paired but, Tae, Shinpachi and Kondou, Hijikata and Gin and those two, I think more likely Okita would visit Mitsuba's grave or Gin, his Danna, so why Kagura?!?! Is she really that special to him, damn their even smiling in the end, they really like fighting each other huh! And the way they said their goodbye message, uhhh, why they not become canonnnn!!
