Plot Twist: There are roleplayers out there that still value writing over popularity. 

He just stares at her, finding that very hard to believe since he’s been witnessing each time she hexes him. “Doubtful, Meadowes, very doubtful.” And he makes a point about how he sounds very confident in that fact. “Bloody brilliant. I’ll grab the firewhiskey.” 

"Well, I'll hold out hope. For James' sake anyhow. Poor idiot just can't seem to get over her." She rolls her eyes, slightly exasperated at the thought of their mutual friend, but more amused than anything. Besides, someone's got to have faith in him. "Grand. I'll try to get everyone gathered up and put up some celebratory decorations?"

"Why do you think I tripped him? To delay the enviable." Sirius didn’t notice the blush that crept onto Dorcas’ cheeks, he just continued talking as if nothing was happening. "My thoughts exactly, Meadowes. You and I can be the party planners, don’t you think?" 

"You're a good mate. But hell, maybe one day she'll see through to the good things. He's not all bad." She had faith that one day her friends would get things sorted out and end up together. "I reckon we can manage, yeah."

Sirius gave a half shrug. “He yelled something about redheads, threw me his broom and ran off into the cheering crowd. I managed to trip him, though. I say it’s been a win for all around.” He slides an arm around Dorcas’ shoulders. “And how do we plan on celebrating then?” 

Dorcas gave a heavy sigh and shook her head slowly. Of course he'd gone to try to impress Lily. "What a git. She's still going to tell him no." She fought a light blush that threatened to tint her cheeks when his arm went around her shoulders and she shrugged. "If the common room isn't having a party already I say we start one."

He gave a snort, “as if. Though I’m doing a better job that your prat of a captain. Right?” 

"That you are, the prat. Where'd he get off to anyhow?" She sighed, glancing around as if she might find him and tell him he was slacking in his captainly duties.
