overtired, i tried to pack into two smaller bags so i don't have to lift my suitcase on the train but i think it's going to be more annoying to do that when i'm going for a whole 8 days and don't want to be trying to justify every single thing i'm bringing which is not even that much! also apparently other people are coming to visit while i'm on my vacation which is exactly what i didn't want. also it's going to rain basically all of monday and tuesday which are supposed to be my prime beach days without crowds. generally in a bad mood and could probably stand to have a quick cry but as always catharsis is not coming

Catholics have this term for people who only go to church on the big holidays - they call them CEOs (Christmas and Easter Only). Do other religions have similar words

I guess my roommate is out of town bc someone came into my apartment last night to take care of the chinchilla from 11:40-12:30 last night and was loudly talking on the phone the whole time

I'm going to the beach for a week next week and all I want to do is do nothing and lie around the yard and lie around on the beach and my dad just told me that our relative and her husband and their giant dog that likes to jump are probably going to stop by for a few days?? jesus christ

yesterday I bought expensive toothpaste at CVS and today after work I’ll go to Target and get an electric toothbrush I think try to get this situation back on the right track

I don’t even have an excuse for my teeth being fucked up like I’ve had dental insurance the vast majority of my life and my parents paid for braces. But then I just became avoidant and had to get a root canal that ended up being fucked up (that part wasn’t actually my fault except for putting it off) and then in 2020 I developed an aversion to putting things in my mouth and couldn’t get myself to brush my teeth twice a day. Great stuff!!

Okay I got an appointment for tomorrow to get a filling from a dentist I haven’t been to in three years. And maybe they’ll be able to do a cleaning to but if not I’ll schedule one for September. Okay onwards and upwards even though I am a poster child for not taking care of your health in your 20s only for it to kick you in the ass!!!!!!

Really gotta get back to going to the dentist regularly and in the meantime I probably should just buy an electric toothbrush
