Okay I'm back from therapy attempt number 1. She did warn me about a therapy hangover and I was like yeah yeah yeah blah blah blah but as soon as I got on the bus to come home I was like oh shit. Her main stuff is about relationships and like regular talk therapy? I think I was hoping to do some kind of somatic therapy and NOT talk about my relationships. Am I focusing on my body too much or not enough? Or the right amount but in all the wrong ways? I liked her energy though so I guess we'll do this for the summer and then maybe do some more research on somatic body stuff. Somatic stuff is often too woo-woo for me like just not my vibe but there is also something appealing about it.

Okay the Scots in Boston have circled back around to being a pleasant novelty. Yesterday on my lunch break a guy in a kilt was carrying a bagpipe not even playing it and random Bostonians were cheering for him

Today I’m going to therapy for the first time in ten years and it’s with a random person no research. Just called this therapy practice and they basically just gave me someone based on availability? So expectations are low lmao

Maybe instead of being annoyed by my stomping, door slamming roommate I should be inspired to take up space in the world

My coworker and I were collaborating on a project and I then started getting either cc’d on the emails or left off entirely and so now I guess I’m kind of off the project but I feel guilty for abandoning her bc higher ups are being insane about the writing process for the final product

My parents couldn’t figure out how to stream the World Cup on any channel except Telemundo and now they’ve embraced it

I feel like I've viewed myself as unwell for so long that I pathologize everything I feel. So genuinely is it within the range of regular behavior to maybe have a little stress-cry and need to go for a walk after signing a lease or is this more evidence that I Will Never Be Normal

The lawyers at my job must be insanely good at lawyering bc they are so bad at every other aspect of work life. Terrible people management, terrible at project management, terrible at running meetings….
