“Wonderful. Thank you darling.” Bianca sat down, smoothing out her dress and crossing her ankles. She inhaled, smiling. “Gosh I can’t believe I’ve been spending my day inside. Oh how rude of me.” The brunette turned to the man holding out her hand. “I’m Miss Bianca.”

Dopey nodded, taking her hand somewhat awkwardly since he stayed silent instead of introducing himself. Letting go, he scribbled down his name to show her. ‘ I’m Dopey. One of Snow White’s dwarfs. ’ He added the last part since he often got strange looks for his name.

Smiling, Miss Bianca nodded in understanding. “Writing on a beautiful day, how lovely.” The kids who were throwing things seemed to go back to their game and she sighed. “Kids will be kids won’t they, darling things they are, even if they throw things around.” Giggling she placed her hands on her hips and looked back at the man. “Would you mind terribly if I sat here too, darling. It’s such a beautiful day and I would hate to waste in by being inside.”

Dopey nodded in agreement, thinking of his own kids who's childish antics he always encouraged because kids should be kids for as long as they can be. Shaking his head, he scooted over on the bench to make room for the woman.

“No, I really am sorry. I didn’t mean to throw it your way…” Her eyebrows pulled together a little bit.

‘ no one is hurt. it’s okay. ’ he wrote down quickly before showing her.

Was that an invitation? Well, it wasn’t as though he was doing anything else. He looked over at the other man, raising an eyebrow. “Are you usually this quiet or…?”

Dopey shrugged, turning to a new page and writing again. 'I don’t talk,' he showed him his scratchy writing, hoping that was explanation enough.

Thea felt herself sigh in relief. “I would have felt so terrible!”

’No need. Everything’s okay,' he wrote down before showing her.

Thea stood up and put the cup in the trash can, ashamed that she missed. “I didn’t ruin what you were working on, did I?”

He shook his head again, holding up the fixed page to show that he had fortunately missed his writing.

Thea was sitting on a bench in the park, enjoying the nice breeze while sipping on a coffee drink. She finished her coffee and tossed the cup into the nearest trash can. She watched it soar right next to someone’s head and she put her hand over her mouth. “Oh my goodness! I am so sorry!”

Calming himself as he retrieved his pencil, he shook his head at the woman, offering a small smile to show it was no big deal. He glanced down at his notebook, chuckling as he erased the long streak he had made across his paper when the cup startled him.

Though most people dreamed of having the summer off, Aerin wasn’t too thrilled. It wasn’t that he loved his job or anything, but the work did take up the days. He sighed, tossing his coffee cup into the trash. He noticed someone look up and he smiled apologetically. “Sorry,” he said, though he really wasn’t.

Dopey waved away the apology with a friendly smile when he realized that he was not in actual danger. Picking up his dropped item, he felt silly for being so easily startled but there was nothing to do about it now. He didn’t know the other but he scooted over on the bench in case the man wished to sit down.

Though Valerie was coordinated, she sometimes overestimated her skills. As she went to throw a piece of paper, she completely missed the garbage can and almost smoked someone in the face. “I’m so sorry!”

After picking up his pencil, Dopey quickly shook his head at the apologizing girl. He realized the object had just been a wad of paper so it would have been no big deal even if he had been hit with it.

Miss Bianca had been a enjoying a walk outside. The day was beautiful and she wanted to stretch her legs after being in the office. As she sauntered around she walked past a young man and he was very engrossed in his writing. Just as she was passing though a pine cone came spiraling at his face and she reached up to grab it. “Golly, are we throwing pine cones now.” The small girl turned around and she knelt down. “Are you alright darling?”

Blinking for another moment as his mind caught up with the fast paced events, he finally nodded at the women. Getting nailed in the face with a pine cone would not have been fun so Dopey was grateful she had stopped it from happening. Noticing that his pencil was no longer in his grip, his gaze fell to the ground and he picked it up once he finally spotted it. After turning to a new page, he scribbled down a note of thanks, holding up his notebook to show her the writing.

maya always drifted to the older, more mature people. especially if they were fathers. not only did she have issues with her mother, but her father wasn’t always fully there when she was younger. so, when she saw someone as kind as dopey, she wanted to talk to him more. her eyes went down to his phone and she let out a small laugh. “it will, i promise. i’m getting better with not hitting people,” she assured with a nod. 

“ i’m sure you are well ahead of me but vegetables especially since y'know the kids will never eat them willingly otherwise. it’s always great though so do whatever kind of magic you usually add in, ” flower smiled knowing that his husband knew, he didn’t need a reminder that kids especially their kids would not usually eat their vegetables but it was certainly worth saying. “ if you need any help i’m more than happy to… attempt that. i’d probably be better at supervising. ”

at least he could say he tried, fitz thought offering the other an almost innocent smile knowing pretty well that no matter what he was stuck cleaning. it was part of being an adult but he had never gotten the knack of organization. “ ask the kids, you know i’ll eat anything you make. ”
