“christian, it was just a JOKE.” the smile that formed on her lips after speaking what she thought was a humorous statement, was slowly fading as she watched the man’s reaction. was it really such  a crime for her to be funny, let alone in a good mood?

  his jaw tightens. a joke? she had thought she truly was being funny? his lip curls, dark orbs meet her own gaze. he hadn’t thought she was being FUNNY. perhaps, he was being far to SERIOUS. ‘ you should be a comedian, ana. ’
