And In my little head these two never tell each other how they feel. Katie Loves this man with her whole heart undoubtedly, but she'll never tell. And she doesnt ever get to tell him. Because shes under the impression that Damien is dead, a freak accident due to the Colonel.

Or thats what her good friend Mark tells her.

In every universe, they are together in, one of them ALWAYS dies. and the other is crushed by it. In a universe where Dark finds Katie again, shes already gone. Iron Lung? Simon got sentenced practically to his death down in the blood ocean, and DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON ENGIE OMG 😭.

The Edge of Sleep? (theres already a katie in edge of sleep and I forgot completely so oops- just pretend its my oc Katie) They don't get a happy ending either.

★-----Lore & Story-----★

ᯓ★Katie is a Nurse aboard Eden, Specifically a nurse commonly deployed as first response. If not on the scene of accidents, shes part of the crew who receives the patients right away [ER Crew]

ᯓ★ Before she became a Nurse, Katie lived Filament Station as a Kid. When She was around 8, her parents unexpectedly decided to move to Eden. [I dont know how cannon that can be so bare with me] Filament Station would be destroyed years after the move.

ᯓ★ Katie was originally supposed to board the SM-8 for research collection in AT-5 blood ocean. Medical Supplies were running low in the Medical Sector of Eden and there was possibility for solutions laying deep within the ocean. However she caught a cold the day of departure, resulting in Katie being removed from the mission. She never heard from the crew about the mission..Wonder what happened to them..

No she wasnt part of Eden's cult [for story sake, the Cult was not entirely surrounding Eden, but rather a community inside Eden]

✮ Simon time heheheeheh ✮

ᯓ★ Simon and Katie Actually meet as Kids, however nothing really happened, they knew of each other, often sitting under the giant tree in Eden 'round the same time. It was coexistence at best.

ᯓ★There was a time when Simon stood up for Katie, but they never got each other's names. Katie often wonders what happened to the boy by the tree.

✷ [au where Simon survives] Katie was the only Nurse where Simon didnt try to attack in his panicked state after being rescued, he doesn't know why but she felt familiar.

right now, im still working on Katies and Simon's dynamic to make sense.

But as of right now, He sees Katie as normalcy, a angel who pulled him up from the blood ocean and treated him just as she would a normal person. Not seeing him as another convict, not as The Butcher. Just Simon
