just testing out some thing with this, mainly testing using black for my darkest shadows and then cell shading and airbrushing for the rest. i used sort of an easy method here with complementary colors, but im not sure that i have used black in the appropriate way. it would be awesome if you all could give critiques for this because i do want to use black for dramatic shading i just have no clue where to start and hey maybe some of you do, so feel free to leave one you dont have to be a friend or have ever even talked to me to drop a critique so dont be shy x3 heres the deviantart link!! please leave a critique there if you have a dA account and if you dont it would be cool to just leave one here i dont mind either link--> http://fav.me/db0659t

This is a gift thats been many months in the waiting for my buddy chaoticnote of one of his new ocs Mayren! (or she used to be new back when he asked for this omfg) Man it was a lot of work for this but this turned out to be a pretty decent ref sheet, not to mention she was a really cool character to begin with!
