Truly I have created this blog because my Eric Bogosian and Daniel Molloy obsession is out of control.
A few things -
I will ship Daniel with anyone. I especially love Daniel / Lestat, Daniel / Louis, Daniel / Armand (but mostly when its old Daniel because hey the heart wants what the heart wants)
I love Loustat but I am onboard with other ships with Louis and Lestat. As long as the show ends with them that is all I care about.
I fully support anyone who wants to fuck that old man.

Rolin’s comments on the structural change of the fourth season, Queen of the Damned and Devil’s Minion on After Dark:
AD Host: Is there anything, Rolin, that you could share with us about where you would like to take these characters?
Rolin: We do it every year. Did a little bit less of it last year, but you paint yourself into nine thousand corners. But there’s also probably every burning question a really precise audience member would ask about what you didn’t see here. There’s a lot of stuff— people went off this way and went off this way — that you didn’t see what they were doing. I think there’s a very exciting structural thing in Queen of the Damned. These strict point of views that I think are really interesting. A way to see this— to try to do what we do every year which is to reboot. We’re not doing what they want you to do which is give you the thing that everyone gets comfortable with. I think our fans, the people who really really like this show love that we come out and risk total failure. [The Vampire Lestat] was tonally really exciting, structurally there’s something really exciting [about Queen of the Damned.] And the Queen has been unleashed and that is a level of power— and there’s a tone there that we haven’t touched yet. Obviously there’s some Molloy/Armand stuff ready for the world to be had but also the exciting part is I think we told half of Lestat’s story.
I know I indulge in deeply parasocial behavior on here but there is a big, big difference between speculating and being silly with your friends in fan spaces, where any actor who sees what we're saying will know that they've chosen to enter a space where people are saying things that are not meant for their eyes, and going into the comment section of an actor's own account and acting like you know them. We do not know these people. It is creepy and disrespectful to go to someone you don't know and say "Hello total stranger, I know that the words coming out of your mouth are not what's in your heart and I'm so sorry that you are being forced to do something that you say you love when I know you're lying". Stop it.

So found the worst screen recorded version of the episode to watch. I can see why some don't like it but I actually did, wish we had more episodes this season, wish we didn't have another long wait for S4/
Big spoilers ahead.
Armand and Daniel being petty bitches and not caring about the Great Conversion that much (though Daniel seems a bit concerned about it), is so fucking funny. They are just as petty and selfish as everyone else in the show. I love my evil husbands.
Armand, I love him more than ever. Oh my god, his face when Louis talked about him being 12 when he was sold, holy fuck. Assad was incredible, loved him doing an impression of Regina, loved that he was responsible for bringing her into Louis' life. Cackled when he admitted to mixing the Stein photos in! Hahah. My perfect little demon. THE GREMLIN IS UNLEASHED! He cannot be stopped. The fact that Louis still looks fondly at him in the auction scenes suggest to me they are on good terms despite you know everything.
The long table with Lestat was really good, Antoinette as the note taker hah, TC just having a good time! But holy fuck Gabi can just fuck off, really happy he called her a monster and I hope he now moves away from her because she is beyond toxic and that is saying something as everyone on this show are monsters.
Daniel vs Raglan is always fun, he seemed upset Real Rashid wasn't there - he loves his Rashid. I'm not worried we didn't see Daniel on the bus, he can survive Raglan and his goons, plus Armand was probably going to him anyway.
The ships, OK so I think everyone is going to be annoyed here because no Loustat kiss and no DM scenes. But Loustat to me are stronger than ever, the way they looked at each other on the bus. DM meanwhile I'm holding out for hope for S4, it has been a bit all over the place but I can't deny that I've loved what we have got this season. I get people are impatient, I am as well but I know in my heart they will make out messy style next season.
I am surprised with how it ended, concert didn't start, Akasha hasn't emerged yet, but it's very clear now S3 and S4 are one. Just please don't make as wait 2 years.
So overall I really enjoyed the season but I think I'm going to have to give fandom a rest (Armand voice), I can't go through another hiatus with all this bitterness and doomposting.
I can't find the episode yet but the one spoiler I care about is that...
Daniel is OK, all the nasty fandom bullshit the past few weeks about his fate and the ageism against Eric was really pissing me off. So fuck you fandom, he lives another day!
