I really, really hate that I have to do this, but I feel like I need to.

askbananapie has been asking for money for a while now, but recently used a screenshot as "proof" that their account was in the negatives.

It doesn't take very much digging to see that this image has been taken from a different post by a different person.

I've covered up their username to protect their identity, as they had no part in this other than having their image used for nefarious purposes.

I reverse image searched the image and it's originally from this user, not askbananapie. I also messaged the person as asked them if they were the person behind askbanananpie. The answer is no, this is an entirely different person.

There is no misunderstanding. Bananapie lied to us. After finding this out, I find it hard to believe that they need donations at all. I could be wrong in that aspect, but if they feel that they need to lie to get money who really knows.

I know I'll most likely lose followers for this, but I don't want people to get scammed. I think that's what's most important here, warning people. I'm not telling you not to donate to askbananapie, if you still choose to donate that's within your right.
